Fantastic news! Didn't really jumped for joy when listening to Brandon's solo.

 

Am I the only one who prefers 'Sam's Town' over other Killers albums? Bones, When You Were Young, Bling, This River Is Wild... ANTHEMS!

I liked "Spaceman" from the last album, they have a habit of making some pretty amazing singles but the albums tend to always be a disappointment with far too much filler. I hope they have another really catchy single on this next LP, it's really been far too long now without them on the radio.

Lets hope they can do well when they return as a four year gap can often result in a band getting forgotten about, hopefully though with some promo and a strong lead single they can achieve a 4th number 1 album.

Literally spazzing out with excitement over this! I really don't get the hate for 'Day & Age' or Brandon's solo effort! :( They were a little "safe" I guess, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were bad, imo. Brandon always said that 'Flamingo' was the album The Killers were due to make next, before they all decided to have a bit of a break so he hadn't done anything new or inventive with it. I'm very confident that his album will deliver. They're a band who seem to know what their fanbase want and so they will keep selling. (Much like Coldplay in that sense)

I guess I'm probably saying that the Killers are predictable but does anyone else already have themselves convinced they know exactly how the rest of the song used in the trailer is going to go?

I don't get the hate for Day & Age, I liked it and I prefer 'Spaceman' to 'Human'. 'Hot Fuss' is still my favourite album of theirs.
