July 6, 201213 yr Having listened to Day & Age again yesterday I must say I think it sounds a bit dated. I like ''Crippling Blow'' and ''Neon Tiger'' but the rest don't really do anything for me (anymore).
July 9, 201213 yr Album release Sept 17, brought forward 2 months! :o Bad idea as it's the same week as P!nk & Muse! All of them have 3 consecutive #1 albums btw only one can keep their streak :( Available to pre-order
July 9, 201213 yr I love when that happens. 01 Muse 02 The Killers 03 P!nk I think The Killers will end up third, but it also depends how well each one's singles do. Btw The Spirit Indestructible also comes out that week so: 01 Muse 02 P!nk 03 The Killers 47 Nelly Furtado
July 9, 201213 yr All I want from any Killers album is 2 to 4 decent singles. And, let's face it, that's all I'm ever going to get.
July 9, 201213 yr All I want from any Killers album is 2 to 4 decent singles. And, let's face it, that's all I'm ever going to get. 2 decent singles seems like a bit of a stretch...
July 9, 201213 yr Tough competition. What are the opening sales for each acts? Maybe that'll give a fair judgement as to who will get it? I don't fear for The Killers though. That weeks just going to boost album sales, rightfully so too. They're in such a state atm though so both Muse and The Killers will be lucky to get 100k... I don't see P!nk as a serious threat in all honesty. I know she's a bigger album seller than your average pop star, but against those two? They should walk all over her. She'll probably get number 1 with an X Factor performance though, so it's not really an issue for her.
July 9, 201213 yr I love both Muse and the Killers and ideally would like both to go number 1, i do think the Killers may just do it but either could climb to number 1 after release. Pink i wouldnt rule out as she is always a very solid album seller, the singles in this battle will play a major role in who gets number 1, either way it would give album sales a a nice and much needed sales boost that week.
July 9, 201213 yr Premiere's tomorrow at 7.30pm on Zane Lowe's show on Radio 1! Ugh. I'm bloody working :drama:
July 9, 201213 yr I remember when P!nk trounced Snow Patrol last time when I thought they'd be a dead cert to win it, I can feasilby see her beating The Killers possibly. Muse will trounce both however.
July 9, 201213 yr Day & Age 200k The Resistance 140k Funhouse 120k Hmm, P!nk is definitely the outsider but I can't really call it between the other two - will depend on the singles.
July 9, 201213 yr Hmm. Interesting. It's really tough to call, but I really don't think P!nk's going to be too much of a threat this time around (at least not for the opening week). I really want The Killers to get it, but I believe Muse may actually be the winners for the opening week. Either way, like I said earlier, I will be surprised if both of them manage anything more than 100k...
July 10, 201213 yr http://www.weallwantsomeone.org/2012/07/10...llers-runaways/ Words can discribe how disappointing this is... I mean after lead singles such as When You Were Young and Human they start an album campaign with THIS? Edited July 10, 201213 yr by SKOB
July 10, 201213 yr On third listen not so bad, but they had five of these on Sam's Town and done better..
July 10, 201213 yr Classic Killers, I think I'm going to love this! Also, here's a great fan made cover until we get the official one: http://images5.fanpop.com/image/photos/29300000/Battle-Born-FAN-MADE-COVER-the-killers-29337379-720-540.png Edited July 10, 201213 yr by Marina Hurts
