I find it odd they are releasing the deluxe version and the normal version on the same day, it doesnt make much sense doing this way, or is it just me that thinks that?

Deluxe versions on iTunes are always out at the same time as the standard edition.

Runaways is good and has the Killers sound all over it, i am not sure that it is a strong enough lead to match the success of human. I would believe the Killers dont focus so much on single performances but will have a keen look on how the album performs.

This has been happening for years.

They've announced an arena tour for this year! (End Oct/Beg Nov!) Hoping to get my tickets on Friday. Really can't wait to see them. They've been on my "to see live" list for far too long!

They are super awesome live. Hopefully they progress their sound a little more.

I hope people won't choose to buy tickets instead of the album, The Killers are too good to flop :(

'Here With Me' and 'Deadlines and Commitments' are both quite nice.

 

It feels like you're listening to a soundtrack of a cheesy 'a boy meets a girl they fall in love they break up they get together again' 90's movie tbh. 'Here With Me' ESPECIALLY. The idea works with the album cover too. :lol:

 

I dunno. I don't think they are an album band. But their records are always so coherent it's a pity :(

Very, very pleased with this. It's a very solid Killers album and is very much 'Day and Age' with a little bit of 'Sam's Town''s sound thrown in. This is just after one listen though but it's a very pleasing and solid effort for me

 

'Here With Me' is breath taking. It's so beautiful. I can't get enough of that track at the moment. This album has practically been on repeat all week and it's just getting better and better. I think it's my 2nd favourite album from them already. Gah. November couldn't come sooner really!

Roll on Tuesday/Wednesday for this arriving. Along with P!nk's newbie and The Avengers on DVD. What a FAB week to get payed :cheer:

Here with me is the standout track at the moment, i am simply playing it on constant repeat.

I was more excited for new P!nk but this album really overshadows it :wub: its perfect. Almost up there with Alanis Morissette's new one.

Here With Me, omg, so stunning, amazing.

I looooovvveeee this album to death! And only been listening to it (non-stop) for 4/5 days now. This is very "Day & Age" meets "Flamingo" and its such a great album to listen to while you're driving at night (same happens with both D&A and Flamingo, tbh).

 

Brandon's voice gets better and better with each release. He has improved so much since The Killers appeared on scene in 2004. He sings perfectly both live and on record and also his range is much wider now.

 

I'm so happy I'm a huge fan of this band. They definitely never disappoint.

I had doubt that they'd be able to pull it off, after 'Runaways' (it's very good, but it's TOO similar to previous material for them) but I don't know why I ever doubted. They are incredible and I am so excited to see them :wub:

 

If I had my way the singles would go:

 

01. 'Flesh and Bone'

02. 'The Way It Was'

03. 'Here With Me'

04. 'Prize Fighter'/'Runaways' (I'd make PF a normal track and wouldn't have used it as a bonus.)

Is Miss Atomic Bomb really the 2nd single? Why? They should have picked one of the first 5 tracks.

Are our minds connected? I feel exactly the same way about Prize Fighter and that order for singles.

 

Prize Fighter is such a catchy and lovely song. I instantly loved it on first listen.
