DJ fresh feat Dizzee Rascal - The Power

This was used on Match Of The Day: Germany Vs Portugal so maybe another boost

I can't believe Dizzee Rascal released a song and it missed #1. It's a sad day for this country. :(

I agree, 'Call My Name' could be looking at somewhere around 150-170k first week sales, whilst Flo Rida could be #2 selling around 90-100k.

I think this too! I was thinking about it yesterday and decided she should be able to break 150k! She's all the way back up to #5 on pre-orders again :o

It's the first song of his I actually *like*, and it's missed the top spot!

I love how Dizzee Rascal, the artist a few years ago who could release ANYTHING and have it hit #1 is the artist to ruin DJ Fresh's run of #1's. In a few years from now, we will be talking of the Dizzee Rascal curse :kink:

There is no way she will sell that much...

My Heart Is Refusing Me is Lorqueens next UK single:

$ma$h?

I saw that, she said she was planning that as 2nd single but I find it hard to believe that Warner had already made the decision within days of the ESC win. I wouldnt be surprised if they went with a new song

it will be front loaded, florida and maroon 5 could quite easily beat her

The only reason it's not #1 is because everybody is assuming they've already downloaded it.

Like, it's hurting the downloads, because people are going on iTunes, seeing a DJ Fresh/Dizzee collab in the top 10, and thinking "SURELY, I must already have this song. There's no way two such legendary artists could do a song together and I not already have it".

iTunes should issue a statement to its users not to make assumptions about whether they already have songs or not.

As long as it makes sense in your head then fine :P

I'm only joking anyway.

Seriously though, I don't think Dizzee will have success much longer now that the dance-pop phase is ending.

But Where Have You Been and Call My Name might not exist if it wasn't for Dizzee. Calvin Harris might not have been so famous if it wasn't for the massive smashes Dance Wiv Me and Holiday. Dizzee Rascal literally changed pop music tbh. :coffee:
