Big drop for Usher, Still possible he could debut ahead of Flo Rida at number 2 though with those extra days of sales added in

Rudimental re-overtaking Usher this early :cheer: I don't mind fun. being ahead of Rudimental as long as Rudimental can hold up reasonably well too.

I imagine Usher will end up #4 officially, with fun. at #3, Flo Rida at #2 and Gary at #1 (Rudimental at #5 and DJ Fresh at #6 sadly).

I see the fake 'Call My Name' has been deleted, but the new fake 'Payphone' is flying up (every time they delete the fake 'Payphone' a new one will just appear and start flying up it seems, they *should* just release the real version already but I hope they don't so it ends up doing as close to a 'T.H.E (The Hardest Ever)'/'Like A G6'/'Black And Yellow' as possible )

Kworb Update

I'm actually really surprised and pleased Loreen is still top 20, I really didnt expect it to be around right now, or even go to #1 like it did!

Love that Dark Side is climbing, and she performed Princess of China as her cover  Sang it very well too, thats definitely top 10 this week with the EP selling well too on the iTunes album chart.

DJ Fresh #6..quite an underwhelming release.

Scream at #5 is still impressive considering no video yet.

WHYB #9, #6 its peak? Unless made 59p? Two rihanna songs top 10, she really is the queen of pop right now!

Is express yourself ever going top 10? #13 right now. I think it has to surely..

Need You Now #14 :o if made 59p this could go top 10.

Small Bump #24 doing well, 79p.

My Kind of Love #32 back at 99p.

Aiden G #40, should be top 40 officially this week for sure.

Run To You - Leanne  #75 What a flop. Inevitable.

Fix You #100  Not even 59p!

'The Power' now has a '(feat. Dizzee Rascal)' on the feed.

As always, the change confused my poor spreadsheet into flagging it as 'new'.

Basically, in general, the rappers that rap on hip hop beats have big fanbases, better album sales, and longer careers, and the rappers that rap on dance beats have small fanbases, terrible album sales and shorter careers.

What's the difference between a hip-hop beat and a dance beat, then?

BTW, has anyone else noticed that the LivePopBars Top 1024 is actually a Top 1022 now? :P

I'm surprised at how well Labrinth's 'Express Yourself' is holding up - a 34-17-16-18 chart run already is pretty good, just glad he's managed to save himself after the held back 'Last Time' dropped out of the top 40 pretty quickly (04-09-10-19-35).

Surely the 'under performance' of DJ Fresh's 'The Power' is reason enough to justify held back releases like this being released a little bit earlier. Both credited artists have had multiple #1s in the past, so there's no reason the two fanbases shouldn't have been enough to get this to number-one; but again a delayed release has just hindered its peak and I don't see it sticking around in the top 40 for long.

Really pleased for Kelly..This era has been perfect!

Just goes to show that it's purely down to a decent promo strategy and decent material.

I know this is slightly random, but just thinking about The Saturdays (who have fallen to #74), if they came back with a killer song and an album that matched the Chasing Lights album, they could quite easily have another platinum selling album, these dance/club songs never sell albums. A few feat. artists would help them to....maybe Ed Sheeran or a Calvin Harris production?! (although, they probably wouldn't work with them).

We all know Example's offered to write them some 'good songs' after the Twitter fight with Rochelle and Alexandra Burke.

Did you seriously just ask that question?

And in response to Eric, you're largely right. Unless you're called B.o.B.

22. Nicki Minaj 'Starships'

23. Ed Sheeran 'Small Bump'

24. Paloma Faith 'Picking Up the Pieces'

25. Justin Bieber 'All Around the World (feat. Ludacris)'

48. Katy Perry 'Wide Awake'

75. Plan B 'iLL Manors'

96. Coldplay 'Fix You'

Weekend effect beginning to take it's toll on the new Justin Bieber track already - down 3 places in the past 2 hours. I don't recall it showing up on the chart update on Wednesday, so I reckon it'll peak between the #31-35 region and then drop out; I'm not a huge fan of promotional singles as a tactic - surely if people buy them all it'll defer from the album itself (especially in the case of 'Born This Way' when loads of fans complained it didn't subtract the purchase of the promotional tracks from the album price).

Also finding it odd than Plan B's chosen to release the iLL Manors soundtrack AFTER the movie premiere. We've got the second single, 'Lost My Way' on 30 June and the album two weeks later on 16 July - I'd imagine casual fans of the movie will have lost interest in a soundtrack by that point.

FIX YOU - The most MASTERPIECE song of OUT generation, it will always be high, 20 years from now.

Nicki Minaj update (because I want to):

24. Nicki Minaj - Starships

64. David Guetta & Nicki Minaj - Turn Me On

68. Nicki Minaj feat Chris Brown - Right By My Side

89. Nicki Minaj - Starships

155. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

187. Nicki Minaj - Starships (Explicit Version)

324. Nicki Minaj - Whip It

490. Nicki Minaj - Pound The Alarm

512. Nicki Minaj feat 2 Chainz - Beez In The Trap

635. Nicki Minaj - Marilyn Monroe

730. Nicki Minaj - Super Bass

758. Nicki Minaj & Rihanna - Fly

833. David Guetta feat Flo Rida & Nicki Minaj - Where Dem Girls At?

856. Nicki Minaj & Drake - Moment 4 Life

1006. Nicki Minaj feat 2 Chainz - Beez In The Trap

If only Nicki had an artist forum! Then I could do all my looning in there! :D

So is Pound the Alarm or Va Va Voom the next UK Single? I don't see why her label wouldn't put PTA as the 2nd single (Or 3rd, I'm not sure if Right By My Side is an official single) seeing as it's already taking off in certain countries; Australia, NZ, France.

Does anyone think this could chart when released? Radio 1 has been supporting it a lot in the past week and will obviously start hammering it in a few weeks. Hopefully KISS and Capital also jump on.

 (How do you embed a YT video in a post? Still a bit of noob :P)

Pound The Alarm is the next single. Right By My Side isn't an official UK single, I'm not sure about elsewhere. It might be US only, I think.
