The album will be pushed back then, if the album was due for release in January, by the time single 3 is released it would most likely be late Feburary or March.

Their in the US for a while now which is why i said it would be unlikely.

 

I'm not sure the LP has been pencilled in for a January release? I thought they said "Spring 2013" ?

if theyr tweeting about it now and filming a video, I expect it to drop before November - they wont release later than 1 Nov because the market is too intense and they will be scared after Heart, so im thinking late October release! still over 2 months away!

The Saturdays are ok as girl groups go, and they do have at least 2 songs, but they are obviously a poor man's version of Girls Aloud. To be fair with new girl groups as Stooshe & Little Mix coming on the scene, they need to up the anti with they're songs.

And I think your right, the single will be an international release (i'd imagine AFU or Higher will be released in the US first then this, or they will release it here first, then alongside the doc airing in the US)

Im very excited. hope this means more news will follow, 30 Days proved with the right song they can do well, they just need to make sure its HQ music!

Not to sound like a loon but only 2 of their singles missed top 10, get your facts right :lol: I know they're not smash cultural phenomenons like Spice Girls but people are just sad.

I just hope this song is good. 30 Days was "alright" for a while but it was such an awful single release. The chorus is so pathetic. Their last two songs have been their lowest selling releases so there's alot of pressure on this one to do well.

Here's the thing.

 

The market is going to be really busy from late October/early November and the rest of the year. So what if they actually release their single in mid-october ? They will have a top 10 for the first week, then a top 20 for the second week and then it's just going to be overshadowed by the other released songs AS ALWAYS ? I don't have any problems with them staying only one week in the top 10, but some longevity would be appreciated.

 

I don't see why they don't try to rule out their MAIN problem which is their airplay. Can you explain me how Blackheart from StooShe literally have better airplay than any Saturdays singles (even their best such as Higher, Up or All Fired Up...or their most succesful on radios such as Issues or Missing You) ?

They could release All Fired Up 2.0, it's not going to do better than 1.0 if the airplay isn't strong.

 

So I was thinking...after the OYR/MHTO fiasco, they won't try to release anything soon...but these tweets SAY a lot. Why would they be learning a new routine NOW if their single isn't out until 2013 ? Aren't they going to forget it at some point ? So I was thinking that they might actually release something in the US first and then a lot later in the UK...But isn't it going to mess up everything ? It's not even going to be their usual 6 weeks before the release, it might actually be a lot more than that...The public will be sick of the song even before it's out, you know !

 

So yeah...I don't know what to think anymore.

Well here's ANOTHER thing.

The idea of the new single coming out in 2013 came from a member on Popjustice who was watching Vanessa's tweet cam/show/whatever where Ness said that the new single will be out after Christmas. But now, he's saying that his friends who watched it too say that she actually said "I can't tell you when the new single comes out, sorry, but the album will be released after Christmas" (well not exactly those words, but you get it !) ... So now, it's a matter of who's right ? His friends or him ?

 

It's all a bit confusing because they have been learning a new routine recently and have been tweeting about it...Surely, it's not for something that is going to be released in 5 months, right ? Plus, Rochelle did say it was going to be released at the end of the summer... Oh and Mollie said during the 30 Days promo that they would release their second single in a few months... Like it wasn't enough, the US TV-show made them changed their plans...So, basically, now we have nothing concrete.

 

I was thinking it might only be for the US, because they need to see if there's actually some interrest in them right there, you know ? But I really don't see them releasing a song in the US and not in the UK... And I don't see them releasing something new in the US first and release it like 2-3 months later in the UK. There would be no buzz around the song anymore.

All that I can say is.. i would go by what the girls are saying on twitter. I'm hoping airplay wont be an issue. And good things come to those who wait - seriously
