Camille (The Writer) says on twitter than the Original is much better and sounds less autoned.

I really want to listen to the original one now! I mean, I'm already used to the autotune right now, it doesn't bother me anymore! I seriously can't wait until November/December....Ugh I wish they would premiere it earlier! :cry:

I can't believe how much this has grown on me. I loved it yesterday but adore it so much more now. I'm astonished they would delete QUEN ROCHELE final verse.

2nd adventure remix is an amazing running song. Is it Una towards the end of the song that sings "let me take the lead, cause you know what I need"? Cant decide if that or Mollies pre chorus "I'll take the lead" is my favourite part of the song

I just love Frankie and Mollie's verse. I always belt out "watchu freaking do. We can do it nightly, you get me excited!"

I LOVE The Saturdays remixes for What About Us, they keep saying in their flips, they're recording HITS with all these different people and i just soooo badly wanna hear them, plus i hope the original does have less auto-tune because they have INCREDIBLE voices and dont need that crappy auto-tune all over their songs! lol :) x

 

I'm intrigued to see what version The Saturdays release. I obviously know they've cut out Frollie's verse (which is amazing) but is there any need to cut Rochelle's verse? I mean Quen Rochele will not be amused.

Both will probably be avalaible, but as we could see during the US performances, they are most likely going to perform the Sats-Only on TV...at least in the UK. I think they have learned that most of their fans don't like their rent-a-rapper trend. I mean, the Flo Rida featuring was never really used except for that intro and they did make a Sats-Only version of The Way You Watch Me because the fans didn't like Travie.

Sean Paul's rap is not bad or anything, but it's far from being as amazing as Mollie and Frankie parts.

I've always thought it was "give me a taste" instead of "give it or take it".

It's "give it or take it" and the routine seems to match those words.

 

However, there's a few other mistakes in those lyrics. ;)

Interesting that the writer said that the "original has less auto-tune"... unless they've gone back and changed in since. The vocals are exactly the same in the original as they are in the mixes.

 

And they have not cut the 2nd verse in favour of Sean Paul's. In the version with him, Roch's middle 8 ("cos you've been watching me watching me") and Ness's pre-chorus is cut in place of Sean's.

I'm just going to piss everyone off again and talk about how amazing Girls Aloud's new song is compared to this. I mean, 'Something New' is so brash, in your face and in the video the girls are constantly doing something and moving around. The chorus is huge and it even has some rapping and a chant. Why couldn't The Sats have done something like that? (after all it was Xenomania who produced Something New) What About Us is so f***ing generic and lifeless compared to it.

 

Vanessa should maybe do some rapping in The Sats stuff. I think she's capable of it.
