So is this true or not?

We'd all be in loon mode if it was...

July now so maybe we'll get some info soon! Obviously this Wiki page was all bull, but anyway!

Also.. is it silly to worry that I think Little Mix are about to put The Sats to shame in all aspects? Just heard their single 'Wings'... it's quite good... worry they're gonna make The Sats look like bigger 'flops' than they already are! The girls need to head over to the US and release Higher before Little Mix beat them to it because I could see Wings and the girls themselves being big over there lol. I like both groups but yeah.. I'm just hating the fact there will be constant put downs flying between fanbases who can't see it's okay to like both groups haha, and then people constantly comparing both groups all the time, whether that be with sales or styling or the music itself. The only interest the The Saturdays generate in the media/press are to do with their personal lives and their fashion.. mind you, at least they're starting to be singled out/known more individually now when before people wouldn't really have a clue who they all were apart from Frankie.

After watching T4 On The Beach yesterday it kinda made me sad at how irrelevant The Saturdays are these days.

I mean, Stooshe were full of personality and had great vocals and their own killer song (I know Love Me wasn't a huge hit but you KNOW it was Stooshe that sang it) and their new song is sitting pretty in the iTunes top 5 even though it was released three weeks ago, and then Little Mix come on with a nice dance routine, nice image and a suprisingly interesting song. Both of those groups got it "right" with the image, vocals, choreography, song etc and both have alot of future potential. You just know if The Saturdays were performing it'd be something shit like 30 Days with a shit dance routine and average vocals with a dead crowd.

Right now there's alot of focus on Tulisa, Rita Ora, Cover Drive, Rizzle Kicks, Conor Maynard, Stooshe, Little Mix, Ed Sheeran and Lawson who have all had breakthroughs in the past 12 months with some of them outselling The Sats biggest single (Mama Do The Hump, Down With The Trumpets, Young, A-Team, Lego House, RIP). I find it hard to explain but basically I feel there is literally no buzz or public interest in The Saturdays any more. Everything about 30 Days was such a boring non-event and no wonder it was such a flop.

This single just HAS to be killer, otherwise it's over for them. Stooshe and Little Mix doing different types of music, but they are much more relevant right now. I think they should just call it quits after this final album.

Rochelle and Una for huge solo careers please!

They've never really been particularly relevant, except maybe the 'Chasing Lights' era. They definitely feel like a girl group that's here to fill the void that Girls Aloud left when they went on a hiatus. I'm not even a 'hater' of The Saturdays, some of their singles are sublime. (hello 'Up', 'Ego' and 'Notorious'). They will never be album sellers and I don't think the girls particularly CARE. They love their celebrity status too much and they seem to make enough money off the endorsements they promote. I'd be perfectly fine with them releasing random singles throughout the year and not even getting another album from them. I personally completely lost interest in listening to an album of theirs since 'Wordshaker' (although this is similar to how I am with Girls Aloud, who have some amazing singles, but I don't particularly care for their albums).

The girls are unlikely to be successful as solo artists, they do work as a group and this is largely why they get endorsements etc. not because of them individually. I can't see any of them having solo careers, unless one of them because a judge on a talent show (which seems to be the way forward to carving out a successful solo career after being in a group, see: Tulisa, Cheryl).

Basically, they need to continue churning out songs, forgetting about having an album (it's not like they make much (if any!) money from the non-existent sales of them. Then hopefully from there get a big break of a HUGE song which would reignite interest in them and then potentially release an album off the back of it.

All in all, they need better management because pretty much everything has been a mess since 'Forever Is Over'.

This single just HAS to be killer, otherwise it's over for them.

I can't help but feel this is said after every single release. However this time seems more appropriate, and I can't help but feel with Little Mix and Stooshe this is the final chapter for The Sats.

This time is the only time I think it's appropriate because girl groups seem to finally be making a comeback. There's nothing to say they can stay if they find the right material and are marketed correctly.

Stooshe and Little Mix seem to be R&B/Pop whereas The Saturdays are more dance pop. They are different and should try to maximise that with singles like 'Faster', 'Higher', 'All Fired Up' and other songs in that style. There is a distinction between the groups and what's to say they can't remain. Mis-Teeq, Sugababes and Girls Aloud were all big 00s girl groups. If The Saturdays play this right the 10s could be remembered for The Sats, Little Mix and Stooshe trio of girl groups.

Basically to sum up they need to remain different with their material and get better management to handle their releases and promo better! X FACTOR SLOT PLEASE!

You don't need an X Factor slot to be huge. It's just more of a prop isn't it really?

I see everyone's point that has been raised on this page and it does sadden me beacuse in the context it feels very much real.

It's a tad worrying that we've heard nothing music related from them in a while either. Maybe that's because we're used to them churning out single after single after single. Perhaps.

I feel the situation will be asessed when the next single premiers.

LOL as if the management had anything to do with them not getting an X-Factor slot...

As it's been said before, the fact one group is big doesn't mean there can't be others that can do the same, history says it's been pretty much the other way round. You don't even need to be the first one to make the release: look at the dismal album sales of The Wanted in the US even though they had a big hit months before One Direction did.

They need to take advantage of the new interest on girlbands, their characteristic sound and the constant promotion their US show will give them. They should plan all their music releases around that.

Their main problem at this moment is the lack of radio support, and hopefully they'll raise their profile with the show.

"Constant promotion their US show will give them" - lol. It'll be a very niche audience who watches it.
Still, is a TV slot every week. Is a weekly spot to sell their music accompanying their gigs and radio promotion. Is the most constant promotion they could wish for.

I thought it was gonna be just a few episodes spread over a few nights in a row?

The channel hasn't even ordered a full season, so of course we don't have any details of the airing. Still, E! works pretty much as any other US TV channel. Mel B's show had a season of 10 weekly episodes, I guess we can expect something similar.

Who knows what's going to happen, it's nice to see they still have radio support despise the plummet of 30 days on airplay. Single two needs to become one of their biggest hits or it really is goodnight The Saturdays.

According to Rochelle their next single is a 'massive tune' and she also said it's one of the best things she's ever done in her life! :)

Yeah but they said that about 30 Days haha. Hopefully this time she isn't mincing her words... :P
