That sounds so far away.

Although I guess it makes sense. They can promote the single in the US from Jan - March, then promote in the UK for a week or two and then head back to the US (assuming they have a massive promo schedule, which they should have).

Rochelle is going to be like 6-7 months pregnant by March. :( Although, I guess it would be better for the second single and the album as I suppose it would be released when she's not pregnant anymore.
I got the feeling this was just a US single and they will be releasing something different in March? Thats what I thought when they said on Facebook 'Don't worry UK, we haven't forgotten about you, we have a new single out here in March' or something like that. idk.

Finally the single is really growing on me! It's really good, but the one minor nitpick I have is it still doesn't have that replay again again and again factor like Higher, All Fired Up, My Heart Takes Over had when they first came out. But I'm really growing to love it now, and they can't release totally utterly amazing singles every time they release something :P

I do think it'll just be a US single though, even they're not stupid enough to leave the single until March surely? It would stand a higher chance of #1 but it would almost certainly be a 'non number 1' :(

This should have been sent to US radio and should hopefully start being tracked soon. Apparently there's a "Christmas freeze" on the radio's over there so hopefully the song starts getting airplay after the New Year.

#29 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Play songs. :D

(I have no idea how that chart works but it sounds good, haha!)

It's based on plays in night clubs by selected Billboard approved DJ's.

I think it's what's played in clubs etc., which is good I guess. Often songs that are big hits on there don't even touch the Hot 100 but it's better than nothing  I can't see why radio won't pick it up a little in the new year, obviously I'd be deluded if I claimed it would be a big hit but I'm staying vaguely optimistic :P

I don't know, I love What About Us (mainly because of The Saturdays) but I really don't think it's a song that will make everyone go (OMG IT'S THE SATURDAYS). I can't really see this doing much on US radio either and the reviews have been quite poor for WAU also.

I think The Saturdays are quite irrelevant (which may show during the performance of What About Us) I'm expecting a chart run off 8-15-32-48-92-X] I've actually grown tired of the song and i can't believe the release is in three months.

I quite like What About Us except for the "what you doing to my head? na na na na" parts. The actual chorus of "whatever the weather..." is a great build up and then it just sort of plummets into really generic and faceless territory.

The song kinda lacks spark and personality, especially compared to something like Higher or Ego. Still, I guess it's radio friendly...

The Saturdays need to stick to an identity instead of changing every 5minutes, I get their experimenting but...
I disagree What About Us is that different to anything on On Your Radar, it could easily be there alongside The Way You Watch Me.

But is it really LEAD single material? It would be a travesty for them if this didn't chart in the top 100. If this flops in the Uk, I can't really seem them coming back.

I'll await for the FAR better single two.

Exactly, it puts me in mind of a cross between All Fired Up and The Way You Watch Me to be honest.

The song has hit me properly in the last few days, but like Lee said I think it's because it's The Saturdays!

I just really love the track. It's like a non-stop amazingness from Frankie's verse to the end. The last minute is even more amzing.

Do they have any promo lined up for this soon? The reality show starts on the 20th so shouldn't they start doing radio tours and promoting the song pretty soon?

EDIT - I see they're on Chelsea Lately on the 10th, which is great but I'm a bit nervous for them. She seems like a right bitch (watch the interview with Katie Price that she done - AWKWARD!!!), I hope she's nice to the girls.

They need to get over there and do radio tours all over the US. They need to realise they can't just set up camp in LA/New York for weeks at a time and not bother going anywhere else in the States. They need to be everywhere. Hell, even do performances and signings in shopping malls or whatever, not just interviews on other small E! shows. I get the feeling they're going to be relying on their show far too much.

I remember the remix of "The One That Got Away" by Natasha Bedingfield getting number 1 on this, although it never was a single  This chart is so weird !
