He said on Upfront two days ago that nothing had been settled and it was just newspaper talk.

 

He also said his priorities this year were writing and promo-ing his own album so I don't think I believe this. -_-

 

It's getting really boring now anyway. :rolleyes: It's gone on for so long. I'm ignoring it until they all state together that it's factually true and if they don't, they don't.

 

I'm looking forward to his solo album and the sound he's going to produce.

 

What happens after that we can think about next year.

Was just catching up on news Laura and wondering if it was true...the timing is off..it takes nearly a year to launch an album and sort out a tour so cannot see where it would all fit in.....

It would be nice if he shook the promo up a bit wouldn't it?

 

He's also said in the past that he will do promo gigs in England and Germany in September.

and.... on Upfront tonight re the TT reunion rumours - he doesn't know where all the stories have come from, he hasn't spoken to anyone and while he does want to work with the others in the future, nothing is planned.

 

I have to say after being such a lover of everything to do with Progress that I'm actually quite glad if he has nothing to do with any anniversary if there is to be one. I'm bored of the criticism that comes out every time it's mentioned, it just goes round and round. Plus it would spoil all the good memories of Progress for me. Progress can stay in its happy bubble of brilliant music, brilliant tour, friendship and forgiveness. :wub:

 

It also means next year he can concentrate on this next tour which I think will be big. He's been cultivating new countries for some time now and I think this is with a view to returning to tour the new album.

 

Hopefully it'll include South America where they've waited so long for him.

I get your point about Progress Laura . Do you think a lot of the next tour will be centred around Russia & neighbouring countries, he spent a lot of time doing private gigs there etc in the last couple of years & those LMEY shows went down a treat . Looking forward to the album & all that goes with it :wub:

Yes I'm sure there's a purpose to the location of all these gigs. I'm guessing the Eastern European market is a good music market do you think?

New markets increase his longevity I guess , he did really well in those countries last tour ... I do not know too much about the music market there but he has a reputation as a good live performer so would not have any difficulty selling tickets there I would guess.

 

China is an odd one , they have very strict rules & regulations so was not that surprised it was cancelled last time , not sure Robbie is demure enough for the establishment :P

 

No idea about album sales , it's the live shows that bring in the cash ,

Robbie Williams sings in French!

 

 

It's official: the promotion of the new album has indeed begun! This week, after announcing on Twitter that he was recording a song in Spanish, Robbie said on Upfront it will record a song in French! He said that the record will be next week. So we should have more information on this song in the course of the week (probably on Twitter).

 

If the information is confirmed, it means it will be the second French title, 16 years after the French version of Supreme. This suggests that Robbie has a pretty good strategy for the new album reach a wider public, especially seductive French and Hispanic public. One can very well imagine a single dedicated to the French market (as Supreme in 2000), and a single dedicated to the Spanish market (as Ser Mejor, Spanish version of Better Man).

 

For his part, Guy Chambers continues teaser fans on the new album. On April 21, he posted a short pretty funny video, which shows Robbie work on his "new single"

I read on Upfront that Robbie said Ayda will be on Loose Women again this week. :)

I think an awful lot of thought has been put into his next album/tour. The ground work has been done over the previous two tours.

 

I'm expecting the next tour to be massive in terms of venues. Not necessarily venue size but venues over a wide geographical area.

 

I think it could be quite a challenge for him.

Jamie Myerscough, chief executive of Educogym, who helped Darren Clarke and Robbie Williams get in shape with a combination of the ketogenic diet and resistance exercise, tells us why.

 

1How did Educo come to connect with the ketogenic diet? We focus on two principles. Firstly, as a person ages they naturally lose muscle tissue which largely drives a person’s metabolism. The reason a person gains weight is largely because their metabolism slows down as they get older and their insulin levels are too high and they store fat. In assessing the research behind different diets, we realised the ketogenic diet is both great at allowing a person to hold on to muscle while losing fat, and it’s extremely low Glycemic, which helps to prevent fat storage

2Why keto rather than low fat? Research indicates that people find it easier to follow a ketogenic diet than a low-fat diet.

This is probably due to the fact that a diet high in fat is both satiating which makes you feel full, and tastes great, as fat tends to carry flavour.

 

3 What are the benefits? It appears to cause the body to just lose fat and hold on to lean tissue. Even if the diet is low calorie, it appears to still do this.

 

4 Are there risks? If someone was very sloppy with this type of diet, it may cause them to gain weight rapidly. Consuming lots of fat while having high insulin levels is very unhealthy, and, in some cases, could be quite dangerous. For those genetically disposed to high cholesterol it may not be suitable. It is very important that the majority of the fats consumed should be from healthy monounsaturated or polyunsaturated fat groups rather than from saturated fats.

 

5 Have you had any success stories with it? I used this approach with professional golfer and Ryder Cup captain Darren Clarke and during the first three months he lost an incredible 50 lbs. I also used the ketogenic approach when I started to train pop star Robbie Williams before his tour and he also achieved incredible results.

Robbie is looking hot . Did you read the article on the Educo gym, they are big business over here & their programmes really work for people & Robbie is a living example of their fitness regime

He got his happy ending thank goodness. :)
