Up to 20 on i tunes now so finally makinf good progress. I think she can peak officially top ten or even better top 5.

Top 5 would be amazing for her. Top 10 is more realistic and already a good achievement. :)

With the Olympics etc Cheryl is holding well, i didnt expect this single to even make the top 20, so the fact it could now potentially go top 10 is a shock to me.

She should do some promo in the next couple of weeks... but we know she won't.

I'm surprised no-one else has mentioned it; it might just be me but her voice is that processed during the chorus that it sounds more like a black woman (no offence meant there, they naturally seem to have bigger voices) than Cheryl.

 

The video is horrific though, looks like she's just stumbled onto the set of Eastenders and doesn't quite fit in.

Thats my only problem with some of the singles this era, they don't sound like her at all in the chorus, Call My Name sounded as though a man was singing over her vocals during the chorus and this...well just doesn't sound all to much like her at all.

I always giggle when she says "go down on me" near the end of the song. That for me is the only interesting thing about this.

I have to say this has grown on me quite a lot, not heard the album yet though so don't know if there was better choices for second single.

Maybe 'Screw You' was the only better choice.

I want it just for the radio edit after the bridge/middle eight/whatever where she sings "if you watch the sun go down on me, go down on me" then there's an "ooh!" or something which isn't in the album version. I don't know how I noticed it as I rarely listen to the radio/hear it when I do :lol:

First of Cheryl's I actually like. Well I did like FFTL was about 2 weeks but I don't see myself going off this.

Well yes it does, people label it as a 'flop' if it doesn't peak at a certain position. I personally think that the release date should have been weeks ago.

This is likely not to go top 10 but it has hung around for a while and will do so for a few weeks yet, i do believe it will get a top 15 peak and number 11 peak most likely but i believe overall it will manage respectable sales which is important.
