Someone just said he refused his music in "Grey's Anatomy" for the same thing.

I can't believe how awful this is. I wasn't expecting big things from an Owl City and Carly Rae Jepsen collaboration, but I wasn't expecting it to be this offensively bad. It just reeks of desperation, like they'll do anything to get a second hit under their belts. Really hope this isn't big here, but I'm sure it'll be unavoidable because it's so repetitive and catchy sounding.

Owl City tweeted a couple of days ago that the UK release of The Midsummer Station has been pushed forward to the 20th August! This must mean that 'Good Time' will be released on the 5th or the 12th :cheer:

Bless him, Adam Young really is the most AWKWARD looking popstar around at the moment. I think when it comes to music videos, less might be more.

Digital Spy is reporting that it will be available in the UK on September 9th. However, that seems more like the date it would have been before the album release date was changed to 20th August. So I would expect a release of 12th August!

Nice video I guess, nothing overly interesting but it suits the song. Carly looks amazing in it, she's such a star. This is why I never thought she'd be a one hit wonder, she's just an excellent popstar. Owl City however is the exact opposite - I actually find him mildly amusing in the video. He looks like he's having a stroke in the first chorus.

This. He is *so* awkward. Actually, awkward doesn't even begin to cover it. He has zero star quality, bless him.

I'm not sure he looks that awkward. OK, he's most certainly an introvert but he's pretty much the archetype of a 'geek popstar' so it does fit with his image.

 

Carly looks quite stunning though, I never noticed how hot she was in the Call Me Maybe video but she's looking great here.

Owl City looks like her ridiculous pervy uncle.

I don't mind his 'awkwardness' in a video like Fireflies, in fact his 'geeky' ways can be quite endearing but in a fun pop video like this it just doesn't work. He reminds me of the awkward relative at a family function who doesn't really want to be there and isn't really wanted there but is just there anyway.

 

I get that it's his personality and I guess it's better than totally faking but he shouldn't have had a video like this anyway. Although saying that nothing else would really fit.

Yeah, he does look awkward, but I find it quite cute personally :P tbf, when you're next to someone like Carly Rae Jepsen, its quite hard not to go all awkward :kink:
