Now we finally seem to have confirmation about 'Trouble' being the next single from Leona's 3rd album 'Glassheart', I thought it was about time to make a new thread for it!

It was confirmed today in a Digital Spy exclusive with Leona that Trouble will be the next single from her new album! (Source)

 

So what do we know about 'Trouble'?

• It will be released in October, preceding the album release in the same month.
• Trouble' is written by Emeli Sandé, and Leona has said to Digital Spy that their musical partnership has been a rewarding one, commenting: "['Trouble' is] very deep and has amazing lyrics that are from the heart. It was great collaborating with Emeli because she really gets where I come from."
• Also involved in the making of 'Trouble' are Hugo Chegwin, Harry Craze and Shahid Khan.
• Lyrics to a track she wrote with songwriter Emeli Sande called 'Trouble' include: "I told you never to get used to me, I stay awake while you fall asleep. I'm a whole lot of trouble, we're in a whole lot of trouble. You shout louder than you used to, and you hold on tighter in the bedroom." (Source)
• Lots more has been written about 'Trouble' in the past few months, which I'm sure we will all rediscover in the lead up to the single premiere (possibly in late August/early September to coincide with her X Factor judge appearance?) and the release in October!

It will probably be classed as a ''Lead Single'' I should think with the HUGE gap between singles.

It's a weird one with this single going to be over a year after the release of 'Collide'! :lol: I'll change the topic title to new single I think until will know whether 'Collide' is even going to be on 'Glassheart' or not!

I'm imagining something like Emeli Sande's Daddy in my head, should be great anyway :wub: I wonder what she would do if it flopped and missed top 10 or something though? It needs to be bigger than Collide tbh, which if it's good enough it should be.

Can't see it flopping liam, All the stuff have read about it is great, Plus she will have her x factor guest judge thing airing around the the time she will be premiering the song! So should build some hype, Plus she will perform it on x factor also, If its as good as people have made out to be hopefully it will be a big hit for her! Can't wait to hear it tho :heart:

haha yes I cannot wait! Very curious to hear it, as it's going to be very different from what we've heard and it isnt a club-dance track like 'Collide'. Very very excited! :D
