Oh no, I really hope that will.i.am manages to cling on to the official number 1

Of course, in forcing people to look on other download sites for it, they might finally realise that iTunes is a rip-off for singles...

I noticed that this morning.

Would that be an accidental or deliberate deletion? If the former, and it cost him the #1, could he sue iTunes?

It's still available on Amazon though, and presumably on other sites too?

It happened in the US a few years ago (where the #1 got deleted and it cost it the official #1). Right Round by Flo Rida/Ke$ha was looking to be #1, but it got deleted mid-week, which allowed Poker Face it get one (and it's only) week at #1.

Right Round had already been #1 for like 5 or 6 weeks already though, and broken chart records, so they probably didn't care that much at that point.

Aha I know, I mainly use amazon for downloads now as all their tracks are a minimum of 89p and quite a lot are cheaper anyway. It's just that most people don't realise that iTunes isn't the only music download place haha

I sort of find it funny when a song that's no. 1 on iTunes gets removed (for whatever reason). The exact same thing happened with Dizzee Rascal 'Bonkers!' although that was readded and managed to climb back up although in the case of 'Bonkers!' it was just the radio edit that got deleted making people buy the extended remix instead.

Why do songs get deleted, especially when they're so high up in the first place?

will's track :o Its not going to harm his sales that bad surely, let's hope Chris Brown doesn't get there instead.

I have Will at #3 again?

Yeah it's returned now with an added 'feat. Eva Simons' on each track

Any reason why there's been a surge for fun.?

They performed it on Graham Norton last night

Flo :up:3

Will :down:4

Chris pulling away, Maroon 5 were 0.95 before, now  0.90

Both of these maybe illustrate the "#1 effect".

Bloody hell at Black Heart, that's holding up really well! Hope it doesn't just plummet once the price reduction is removed.

Wonder if Chris Brown can buildup enough of a lead to stop Maroon5 taking the #2 spot officially?

Go Black Heart! I think it's a bit of a grower, hence why it debuted high initially (held back release), dropped quite quickly before it grew on people, and is now climbing back up again. Hope it can stay in the top 20 for 2-3 more weeks.

Black Heart  #4

We Are Young :left: #5

This is Love  #6 :o Could have a massive drop next week at this rate.

I think this actually illustrates the 48 hour roll-over effect - Will is losing ~12 hours of high sales, replaced by 12 hours of zero sales...

I hope this glitch somehow leads to Chris Brown officially being #1 next week as it's probably either going to be him or Maroon 5 back there.

I really don't see how this could be a genuine fall for will.i.am, he's decreasing TOO quickly. There must still be some problems with the song.

Taio back down to #11 though, thank God. Let's just hope will.i.am is back at #1 ASAP. (His second version is back at #46).
