January 2, 201312 yr :o at the lack of love here for Tame Impala! I'm not sure its worthy of being named countless magazine's 'Album Of The Year' however but i still love it and its in my Top 10 of 2012 :wub: Really hope that it gets a sales boost after all the end of year reviews/love for the album though.
January 4, 201312 yr I love these guys! And i think Lonerism is the Album of The Year! "Mind Mischief", "Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" and "Sun's Coming Up" (it's so Lennon-esque!) are my fave tracks.

It is an amazing album especially the songs you mentioned although i prefer their debut album 'Innerspeaker' - I probably have not listened to 'Lonerism' though as much as i should have as the Alt-J has over shadowed every other release for me this year :wub:
January 6, 201312 yr The most overrated and boring album of the year sorry bout it It's a pretty hard album to get into tbh - Took me a while to appreciate it's greatness and I think it's one of those albums that gets better and better the more you hear it, Despite all the end of year love for the album it has done little to renew interest in the album - I guess people are just not into an album that reminds me of the sort of thing John Lennon would be producing if he was around now and a heavy drug taker :lol:
January 6, 201312 yr Crawling back into the charts at #99 this week - I know TI are not a chart band as such but I thought they would have done better as people tend to seek out music that makes it onto the 'Best Albums Of The Year' list and also the fact that sales are lower in January.
January 8, 201312 yr Cannot get into this at all. People keep shouting about it and I try but it's just DULL.
January 12, 201312 yr Finally some excellent promo for Tame Impala in the UK - Appearing on Jonathan Ross tonight so hopefully the album will benefit hugely, Might also get a surprise hit single depending on what they perform.
