The second version's nice but GOOD GOD that chorus REALLY lets the team down. It could do with a post-chorus, or, well, ANYTHING, just to liven it up a bit. As it is the production's the star of the show and Amelia herself AIN'T.

Second version is a bit slower, and I prefer the first with the 2nd version's intro.

 

My prediction of No.2 is becoming a reality. It's being played on radio more than Little Mix, meaning it has more chance to doing better than many people expected.

But from what I've read, Little Mix are getting a more positive reaction to their song than Amelia is to hers. The critics seems to be all over Amelia's song, but I think "fans"/average joes seem to prefer 'Wings'. Amelia's been getting far too many "she sounds too bored though" sort of comments. It won't harm her chances of getting a number 1, but I do think people are just judging Little Mix's success far too quickly.

I seriously doubt this'll be in contention for #1. Top three, maybe, but it'd be lucky.

It will do well of course, as I was saying. The only way she can get to No.1 is that Little Mix is not playlisted on Radio 1, which is definatley unlikely. They will get on the list soon.

I can definitely hear the bored comments now with the new/slower version :( It lacks the energy, despite very clearly wanting to be an anthem.

I really hope the pre-orders come up soon!

I put off listening both to this and the Little Mix single, and although theirs is decent (at least it's not another ballad) I think You Bring Me Joy is absolutely SUPERB. It's Call The Shots 2012 with a little touch of 80s and rock star attitude. I hope the GA comeback material is this good. That said I don't think it will be that big, top 10 for sure, top 5 max though.

The photo has been very manipulated, she's practically orange there compared to the original. I do like the font though.

Lovely cover! Boring lyric video though. This should be huge though. It's very 'Call The Shots' and is very much what every Girls Aloud should be wanting, whilst waiting for new GA material.

I'm always a bit biased with most Xenomania produced songs and this is no different. I enjoyed Amelia on the Xfactor and for a first single this is great. I also love the single cover for this too.

First time I heard this, I was so underwhelmed. Now, after several more listens - it's clicked and I love it!

I see the comparisons to "Call The Shots" but I absolutely detest that song, so it's better than that for me!

I love this song so much. This and the Kat Krazy remix of Misha B's new song are the best things to come out of the X Factor for years! That said, wouldn't be surprised if this only scrapes/just misses the top 20.

According to the New Releases thread, the song is now out 3rd September.
