Ellie did SNL and only charted at 130 on digital songs...

Obviously The Saturdays should get a top 100 billboard, however it wont sell well in the slightest, they will no doubt have promotion aswell!

You need radio airplay to do best in the US imo. Flo Rida's songs always shoot up the chart suddenly after that Z100 station (or whatever it is) playlists them. I bet that was responsible for the sudden boosts of a lot of other songs aswell.
The Saturdays are actually trying? With what song?

I believe it's there new single, although HIGHER needs to be there debut single!

TBH, their starting promoting in USA in September as that's when there show starts, no doubt they will have TV performances, so I think they should grab top 100 at least.

Go Cher! Taking full advantage of the "Top 10 effect". Hard work and promotion pays off, eventually
But as for current hits, surprisinglyI think Cheryl's "Call my name" stands a fairly good chance thanks to its "We found love" similarity, the Calvin Harris connection and will.i.am will push it in the US as well.

I'd go even further and say it has Hot 100 #1 written all over it. It's exactly the "in" sound right now. Cheryl is pretty much unknown here and doesn't bring all the baggage she carries with the UK media/public. As Cher Lloyd is learning -- a strong single can go a long way.

I agree. "Higher" is so made for the USA, it's got Flo Rida and it's one of my favourite songs by a girl band in a long long time (prolly after Girls Aloud "Call the shots").

Surprisingly, I agree with what you said. If not a #1 overall, it can certainly do a "Where have you been" or a "On the floor". I love the song, it's nice and commercial, I dont' know why people are complaining about it (oh wait, it's because Cheryl sang it. Had it been Kylie, everyone would've said it's the new CGYOOMH!).

As for Cheryl, a few folks do remember her from X factor - the firing if not the actual 2 episodes she was on, and she's guest starring on Glee soon.

How do you know that Cheryl will release her single in usa?? Did she confirm it?

P!nk has got an iTunes banner now and has shot up to #14.

EDIT: Whistle  #2.

So her stalling was because people legitimately didn't realise she had a new song out then? Thank God. It's too good for it to have not reached top 10 at least this week.
If the Saturday's reality show is sucessful, they'll become the new Spice Girls before Little Mix does. But they have to get a No.1 song here first.

 4. P!nk - Blow Me (One Last Kiss)

:left: 8. Cher Lloyd - Want U Back

 15. Demi Lovato - Give Your Heart a Break

 It's all about letting people know about new music! Majority of the people I tell were not aware of her new song at all! Pink so high now :o

Cheryl recently said she has NO plans to attempt to crack the USA, she is focusing on the UK with the tour and possible Girls Aloud reunion :D
