Pink is  #33 - not doing very well at all!

lol. It's only just been released.

In the US, most songs take 3-4 months to peak.

Yeah but most songs by big artists shoot high up itunes and then stabilise. We'll wait and see what happens though. It's not my favourite Pink song, as it comes nowhere close to the brilliant Funhouse era

I think that the success of Want U Back is partly due to the huge success of Call Me Maybe as they're both pure bubblegum pop songs like the success of Lights is partly due to the success of alternative songs STIUTK and We Are Young.
Call Me Maybe, Somebody That I Used to Know and We Are Young are definitely changing the music industry for sure.
Lights began to take off before both We Are Young and STIUTK if I remember correctly.

None of the Uk's current hits would do well in the USA.

What songs (Current or upcoming releases) would you think?

Olly Murs "HSAB" feat Chiddy Bang, why they didnt keep Rizzle Kicks Ill never know  Its flying up the pop airplay and steadily ascending itunes.I predict T10 when he does promo.

Marina & The Diamonds : Primadonna Electra Heart released soon going to give this song a big push I hope it goes T10.

Paloma Faith: PUTP kind of like Adele can see her breaking through with this single.

The first thing we need to hope for is that Ed Sheeran, Emeli Sande and Rebecca Ferguson get some attention on the chart. But as for current hits, surprisinglyI think Cheryl's "Call my name" stands a fairly good chance thanks to its "We found love" similarity, the Calvin Harris connection and will.i.am will push it in the US as well.

Outside of that, Paloma Faith has the chance to enjoy Florence type success, if not Adele's.

And you never know with Little Mix.

Sorry but I don't think Olly stands a chance with the US. Has nothing to do with Rizzle kicks or chiddy Bang, his image is just a little too "uncool" for the US audiences. If I could portray an analogy, that's 1 reason why in the comic world, so many TV/movie adaptations of Tin Tin never took off in the US as well when American audiences are used to their Spiderman's and Superman's.

TUESDAY 7/3 UPDATE

67 60 MURS, OLLY Heart Skips A Beat 201 141 60 3.149 thats a good increase on pop. Number 347 on itunes though although I think he will do a Ellie.Exposure from 1D tour support will help him no end.

Emile Sande "Next To Me" #344 I would have lead with "Heaven"

Edited by zero

Cher #10!

Tbh, Olly's not going to do that well, I doubt he will even get top 60 tbh, I hope he does well with Single 2 (Hopefully Dance With me Tonight)

Emeli Sande did actually promote Heaven it's 0.69$ on USA iTunes and Daddy was the free single last week.

I can't see Paloma Faith, Little Mix making it big in the US. Despite being a huge Saturdays fan, I doubt they will even make it that big, they have a US show coming up, so they should grab that top #100 smash though!

Ellie did SNL and only charted at 130 on digital songs...

Little Mix have potential, considering 'Wings' is very similar in sound to something Beyonce would do.

Ecstatic to see Cher smashing with this song of all songs from her album  It's definitely still my favourite from 'Sticks + Stones'. (So pleased it's the original, Astro-less version too!)

Cher already up to #8 :o
