August 2, 201212 yr It sounds okay I guess ... really can't judge from that clip though. I'd absolutely love it if she made it big again though, 'Obsessed' was a TUNE.
August 2, 201212 yr Sounds pretty good from that clip! Good to see her pretty much staying with her 'urban' sound too, I'd have hated it if she went 'chasing trends' like everyone else who comes back seems to.
August 2, 201212 yr There's a YouTube video with loads of clips that I've never heard before that says snippets from new album... I may be a little behind on my fandom but when on Earth did we get snippets!?

I may be a little behind on my fandom but when on Earth did we get snippets!? They aren't snippets from the new album, they are ringtones she did for Pepsi over 2 years ago, apparently there are 22 of them that have never been released. Edited August 2, 201212 yr by Davidson
August 2, 201212 yr The snippet was disappointing at first but after a few listens I really liked it! I'm looking forward to hearing it in full.
August 2, 201212 yr Author I really like the preview. Just 2 more hours to go before it's played on radio :D Then it can be streamed on mariahcarey.com from 20:45.
August 2, 201212 yr This song sounds brilliant based on the clip. I can't wait to hear it in full (which I assume is just about to happen ). I'm SO happy that she's done a song like this. I'm really proud of her, and it really demonstrates what she's about. In recent years, you discover a lot of artists who you thought had a true passion for a certain style of music actually don't, all they want is big hits.
August 2, 201212 yr It's up! http://mariahcarey.com/ Hmm, quite liking it so far, not enough Mariah though.... Pretty dated as well, which is good for me but it doesn't sound like a hit.
August 2, 201212 yr This is the least she's chased a hit since the Charmbracelet era. Her sales have been on the slide anyway so I don't see what she's got to lose. It's a great song! I do think we need a rap-free edit mind...
August 2, 201212 yr I agree that there isn't enough Mariah (not something I ever expected to say!) but I did enjoy it.
August 2, 201212 yr Apparently there is a pop version (so I assume minus some of the raps at least) coming, don't know when but possibly on the iTunes release?
August 2, 201212 yr I REALLY like it in full. It's not chasing trends, it's not trying to be a hit, it hasn't the faintest WHIFF of a Guetta beat or Harris synth. It's just unmistakably Mariah.
August 2, 201212 yr I'm loving this after a couple of listens. It definitely feels like a Mariah song, I'm glad she's been true to herself. I think my only complaint would be that it doesn't need two guest rappers. Give Mariah the first verse and keep Rick Ross where he is and we have the perfect version of the song.
August 2, 201212 yr Exactly what she should be releasing now. Still a great relevant song but not chasing every trend right now, well done Mariah.
August 2, 201212 yr This is the least she's chased a hit since the Charmbracelet era. Her sales have been on the slide anyway so I don't see what she's got to lose. It's a great song! I do think we need a rap-free edit mind... It'd just be the chorus and the middle eight! She sounds like a featuring artist on her own lead single. DISPLEASED.
