That video is very good indeed! It reminds me of a mix of Swagger Jagger/Turn It Up at the start, and then With Ur Love midway and then Want You Back (US Version) in the diner! But it's very good! The photos from this era for Cheryl have been brilliant too, I love all the colour!
It's just annoying that it suddenly starts to climb everytime a song is about to enter the top 10. :drama: And the weather is so nice at the moment, but the song seems totally inappropriate (it reminds me of like February for some reason, maybe because that's when Starships came out ).

It's like the most summery track in the Top 10!

Pound The Alarm is very summery, but imo Spectrum and Feel the Love are better summer anthems. Black Heart is probably the least summery song as it's lowtempo and the lyrics are not about partying/having a good time :P

For me I'd say the most summery song in the top 10 is Feel the Love (followed by Black Heart, Vegas Girl, Whistle and Brokenhearted).

On another note, Karmin up to #2!!!!

Wow, Love that video, She looks bloody stunning!

Tell us something we *don't* know! :P

I wouldn't really say Black Heart sounds particularly summery at all. Regardless of your dislike, it seems obvious to me that Pound The Alarm is very fun and summery

Yeah Pound The Alarm has got a summer feel to it, it's one of those songs that festivals will love and places like Magaluf will constantly play it.

09. Stooshe - Black Heart :cheer:

12. Coldplay & Rihanna - Princess Of China

13. Far East Movement & Coverdrive - Turn Up The Love

14. Misha B - Home Run

15. Angel - Wonderful (Funny that 12-15 are all 59p)

20. B.o.b & Taylor Swift - Both Of Us

I don't see it with Pound the Alarm at all. I'd never listen to it on a day like this, it doesn't fit the mood imo.

I think Express Yourself and Picking Up the Pieces deserve special mentions on the topic of summery songs aswell.

Coldplay have had a really succesful era now with Mylo Xyloto nice to see POC holding up well.I expected Conor Maynard to be v frontloaded alas he is holding up well its a awful awful song.Wish Karmin were #1 Flo has had 2 weeks already.
I'd say it was more of a summer song, than a ballad about being in a relationship with a cheat, though!

I bet Black Heart has been played on the radio hundreds of times today, so I'm probably not the only one who thinks it's summery.

I think 2011 had a lot of great summer songs though, like Black and Yellow, E.T., Buzzin', Down With the Trumpets, Don't Go, I'm Into You, Set Fire to the Rain, Right There, The Lazy Song (even though I HATED it ), Heart Skips a Beat, Heaven, Party Rock Anthem, Give Me Everything, Sweat, Beautiful People, etc.

I dont see them 2 as summery but the rest i agree, i guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

I should think it has been played on radio a lot, but that doesn't make it summery? Ballads to me, aren't particularly summery. Pound The Alarm, an upbeat dancey song, with sirens etc, sounds like a summery song to me, a lot more so, than Black Heart.

Don't Go isn't summery?! :o Have you seen the music video?

To be fair, I usually like songs that have sirens, etc. in them. I guess I can find a lot of ballads to be summery. For me personally, on a summers day I like to listen to songs that are uplifting and make me happy and make me want to go outside, so I guess that's why I like Black Heart for the summer. Especially the "Daddy, I've fallen for a monsturrrr" part.

And then this summer, we have Spectrum, Wings, Good Time, Under the Sun, Live It Up, You Bring Me Joy, Killer, How We Do (Party), We'll Be Coming Back, Brokenhearted.......
