Second single from these guys and the follow up to their top 5 debut 'When She Was Mine' from May...

As this is the best pop single of 2012 (for me, anyway) so far in my view it deserves number 1 for them, they're great lads and I'd love to see them do well. It will probably however get top 5 again knowing this country but I don't know...what do you guys think?

It's nothing ground-breaking but pretty inoffensive, I went for top 3 assuming there isn't much competition that week.

I'd say looking at all that lot their biggest competition would be the Calvin Harris and Example one that's out next week. Possibly Far East Movement and Ryan O'Shaughnessy as well...

I said top 3, because it's good airplay and they seem to have a fanbase, plus there isn't too much competition. I wouldn'tmind it going top 10 tbh, it isn't the best song out there but it's far better than When She Was Mine so on that premise it should do at least as well.
Its a pretty decent song actually. If When She Was Mine got all the way to number 4 with just Capital support, then I think this stands a very good chance of getting to number 1, I think only Calvin Harris/Wiley could stop them.
I picked 'top 5' as 'expect', but unfortunately there was no 'flop' option for 'want', so I had to pick the lowest available option for it.
I said Top 10, it's a nice summery song, but not a classic. I think it'll be beaten by Calvin & Example or Rita. I doubt Wiley will be number 1.
Picked top 3 for both, as Gavin said it's a proper summer song, I would not begrudge it going to #1, but Calample have probably got it in the bag.

Calample? Sorry to go off topic but that sounds oddly like Calpol...

Top 10 bare minimum, most likely #1-3 due to Global Radio buying playing the song.

Very bland and inoffensive...at least with this single they're not ripping off Spanish Eurovision songs in the chorus ;)

Well I'm glad to see a couple of people agree with me re: this sounding like a number 1. I'd really love it to be number 1 for them. Fingers crossed!
Well on all the Capital and Heart websites, as Lawson are signed to the company which owns the stations, they have an pre-order link for the new single - can't believe the plugging that they do, it's ridiculous!

They do it with The Wanted and Cover Drive as well...there's little point complaining about it now really - they tried to back in 2010 when The Wanted's 'Heart Vacancy' was out the same week as Joe McElderry's debut single and it caused a bit of media attention and furore but nothing more. It's no different to the secret deal that Prestige Management - the team who were responsible for managing Busted, McFly and V (remember them?) had to have all three acts appearing/performing on CD:UK pretty much every single week in 2004. The difference I'd say with Lawson is that they aren't middling and half hearted like The Wanted are - their album's out in October and I've heard bits of it that are really promising. They're more of a 'band' band than The Wanted are which will certainly work in their favour in the long run.

Ah right didn't know that.

I do remember V actually - had their album
