I was literally just about to write a post about this!! It spends all week climbing up to about 41 and then then the weekend effect kicks in, it sends it down to as low as the 60s, it's been doing it for a few weeks now, it's so annoying!!!

 

Its because it mainly gets rotation on radio 2 and none of the 'younger' peoples stations so when people hear it on the way to work they come back and dload it but then it falls away after friday.

 

The same happens to Bangarang by Skrillex as radio 1 only play(i would say capital barely play it) it because it hasnt went top 20 it falls away too after rising as high as 21 on itunes some mid weeks.

Finally making some more movement and closing in on the top 40! Above it are quite a few multiple versions of songs which it can hopefully overcome soon.

Because her second version fell out of the top 100. It's still at #112, so will probably be in the high 30s combined.

Looks like the Pound The Alarm video is having an effect, it's up to #6 now. I'm hoping this does as well as Starships.

I can't stand four of the current iTunes top 10 (Wiley, Calvin, Chris and Nicki) and don't like the Far East Movement record either. Feel the Love, Brokenhearted and Vegas Girl aren't bad and Spectrum is decent. The only really good song there is Payphone - although that's the version with the rap verse, much better without it.

Judging from the gap on Kworb, I think if Wiley gets the no. 1 this Sunday then either Wiley will remain #1 for a second week. Or Rita Ora's new single will be brought forward a week. I don't think Calvin Harris will climb to no. 1 next week if he doesn't make it on Sunday.

I haven't been following the charts much this week, just looked at iTunes, Wiley is still ahead, not so much of a lead though, we probably get some sales info tomorrow. Its a possibility Wiley could hang on for a second week.

Lawson could do it, well actually I think they might miss out but they should be a top 3 debut I'd have thought - better song than When She Was Mine and radio are loving it!

Yeah, but this one I actually find quite catchy. I said when I first heard it that it has a similar beat in the verses to 212, I Know You Want Me, I'm in Miami Girl, etc. and I just want some more movement in the top 10 at this stage. There's much more generic stuff than that song in the chart atm.

The only good bit of the song is the horn part where no rapping or singing takes place.
