If we're talking about girlbands cracking America.. I reckon Stooshe have a good chance. Maybe Little Mix..

I don't think any girl groups have a chance at being successful in the mid-00s. In the mid-00s they did obviously (Pussycat Dolls, Danity Kane, etc.), but not now. Stooshe and Little Mix would've fitted into that time period easily with songs like Black Heart and Wings.

 

If any do now, it certainly won't be Stooshe. It'll have to be a dance-pop group I think. Probably 2NE1 or Girls Generation stand the best chance.

On radio I guess but they're doing well on iTunes which is the more desired scenario. Mercury are useless, though. E! got them Jay Leno, The Today Show and have been promoting them on Twitter and the E! network whereas the actual label haven't even set an adds date and are more focused on promoting Jake Bugg and Lawson on Twitter. They haven't sent out a single Tweet about The Sats.

I'm impressed by their iTunes performance tbh. I didn't think they had any fanbase in the US. But obviously the major focus from now should be radio to get it to chart.
