Why would it be stupid? Whilst I hope it can help keep WANEGBT in the top 10 for a couple more weeks (X Factor performance, album release the week after so it'll have a 2nd version), I'm not sure how much of a boost it'll actually get, it's kinda done its work now. Performing another song could help sell the album, showing off a different side.

But I am happy to see her performing WANEGBT, especially since we didn't actually get to see it at the Teen awards yesterday, showing the crowd the whole time..

She has the promo so I wouldn't be surprised if it went to #1 in the UK. As for the US, I think a 500k would be disappointing - yes it's still huge but half of what Speak Now did and wouldn't be the biggest debut of the year even. She will probably have lost some sales because of her slight move away from country but that should be made up by bigger WW success.

WANEGBT is the most well known song and is basically launching the album. It would help the album sell more by performing WANEGBT over Red.

I'm guessing that, same with Little Mix's performance of DNA that happened because X Factor have the exclusive rights to the first televised performance.

To say I'm excited about 'Red' the album would be an UNDERSTATEMENT.
'I Knew You Were Trouble' is amazing and my favourite of the promo singles so far..but I don't think the verses and the chorus really fit together that well.

It's fantastic, 'Red' is just gonna be incredible!! Don't know why this one isn't on iTunes UK though! :(

I love it, it's SO catchy  Love the dubstep bits too, I had a horrible feeling that it would be a horrible shoehorned in drop but it works really well!

Unbelievably excited for Red, EASILY my most anticipated album release of the whole year.

We Are Never Getting Back Together, Red, and I Knew You Were Trouble are all fantastic
I think the red era will be Taylors biggest UK era by a long mile. Im not very knowlegable on american sales etc but i assume this era has the potential to be her biggest there aswell as she is currently achieving great single success there.

There is, she should be announcing the title very soon!

Her performance was great, I loved how her band were dressed up like in the video. Surely a tour is going to be announced either this week or next week to coincide with the album release/performance, hopefully she does more than just three dates this time because I really need to go (sure she will though given this era has been much bigger already).

I loved the performance! It was fun and her vocals sounded a lot stronger than when she performed it at the VMAs! I still love the song so much as well! The promo singles haven't been half-bad either. I'm actually thinking of purchasing the album, which shocked me (don't get me wrong, I really like Taylor and her music but some of her songs, mainly the slower ones, aren't to my taste).

Has it been posted yet that the other duet is apparently with Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol on "The Last Time"?

State Of Grace is the final promo single, sounds like it could be the best so far!
Really afraid, that "Red" will be "Born This Way" 2.0. I want a long chart life for this album, not # 1 with 1mln in a first week and huge fall in near future.

Sounds great and like you say, very different! :D
I've seen mostly negative reception so far, but I think it sounds like it could potentially be the strongest of the promo singles :o
I don't like the sound of that one :( "I Knew You Were Trouble." will probably remain my favourite, with "Red" as the second-best. I have pre-ordered the album though, so I'm expecting great things from the remaining songs also :D
