I actually prefer NCITW as a song too, but NIP is still everywhere, like everytime i go out it gets played, and so it was always going to be difficult for a follow up track to be as big unfortunately.

Glad to see Paloma on the brink of top 40. I actually didn't think '30 Minute Love Affair' would even make the top 100!

 

I agree with both of these statements! I really don't like NIP but NCITW is really great. And as a big Paloma fan, even I thought it would bomb as a single so I'm surprised (and a little bit shocked) that it's done so well, especially considering the Radio 1 snub.

So surprised to see Trey Songz in the top 10. I guess it only being 59p has helped, but has it even had much airplay ? I don't recall hearing it anywhere near as much as Heart Attack

 

It's been playlisted by both Radio 1 and Capital, whilst Heart Attack didn't get played on Capital, so maybe that's part of the reason. It's nice to see him finally in the UK charts.

 

And both NIP and NCITW should've got #1 imo.

So frustrating that it's going to miss the top 40 - it would've been her first single to chart top 40 after the album release as well. I hope it will climb next week but I'm not sure. She's not having much luck with these events is she? The Jubilee and such kept the album from going to #1 originally and now the Olympics have stopped the single from making top 40 and the album from finally being at #1 :lol: :(
