August 14, 201213 yr Not so sure where the Spice Girls will be, thats considering they do chart but i really want to see them back in the album chart, id even settle for low top 75.
August 14, 201213 yr Incredible numbers to see Don Broco and While She Sleeps in the top ten in the midweeks.https://twitter.com/fearandrecords/status/235325441886539776 Spice Girls Greatest Hits number 7 in the midweeks :) #proud #spicegirlsforever https://twitter.com/Kevsie/status/235376278180601856 Rita Ora is already killing it in the midweeks with nearly 50k sales. More than 30k sales between her and the No.2 spot YAY https://twitter.com/iamfabish/status/235385106506846208

August 14, 201213 yr Yey at Spice Girls being top 10 in the albums, hope they can stick there come Sunday!
August 15, 201213 yr Great return for the Spice Girls, i hope they can stay in the Top 10 now, Top 20 is probably more realistic as sales will trail of during the week.
August 15, 201213 yr George will be top 15 then!! Happy days!! is he really doing so bad??? I mean, I wasn´t expwecting a number 1, but yes a top ten
August 15, 201213 yr George Michael doing alot better than i ever expected, that said without the Olympics performance i think the outcome would have been very different, like many other artists of the same generation he cant attain hits like he once did. This said, i would argue that George hasnt made a decent single for many many years and has instead became more of a public talking point rather him been a music talking point.

This said, i would argue that George hasnt made a decent single for many many years and has instead became more of a public talking point rather him been a music talking point. you have a point: he´s been giving a lot of interviews for the song, and the radios didn´t embrace it...but I hope it´s more related to the quality of the song than a generation thing
August 15, 201213 yr I think alot of his sales are purely the fans, maybe i am completly wrong but i can see him totally plummeting out of the top 40 next week.
August 15, 201213 yr Well he only got as high as 17 on itunes so the cd must be selling greatly!! Oh and December Song was released in 2009 - thats a modern classic imo, got to 14 in 2010!! Edited August 15, 201213 yr by steve201
August 15, 201213 yr George is someone who would sell well on phyisical format which will boost him alot, he hasnt broke past number 17 on itunes in any updates i have seen and again i can see his itunes position dropping for the remainder of the week.
August 15, 201213 yr True and the pre orders are prob decent. If rita ora has done 50k so far (until yesterday) she is also on course for great opening sales but i cant help but think the pre order for that was massive too because the digital sales data this week hasnt been anything out of the ordinary (12k max). So its sales may be slower as the week goes on - although she is 1.00 to 0.46 on the combined bars!
August 15, 201213 yr With 3 big number 1 singles it will be interesting to see how it will translate into album sales.
August 15, 201213 yr i predict poorly, she only appeals to a certain age group and most will have got her singles! Edited August 15, 201213 yr by steve201
August 15, 201213 yr I predict Emeli Sande to be number one in the Albums today, with Read All About It also at #03-04.
August 15, 201213 yr Author Today's update is going to be fun to do, I expect a few new entries, maybe 15 the most, I remember the days when we had 10plus new entries every week.
