When is this infernal song released in the UK? Is it tomorrow or next week? I've lost track

It has been an eternity <_<

On that note, I decided to continue my obsession and I bought the physical single cd of Candy. It arrived today. From Switzerland. It was a long cheaper there. So if it reaches No 1 on the Swiss chart it's all down to me :smoke:

It was much cheaper to order from Switzerland. Even with the postage.

That acoustic version of Candy is so much better. Really enjoyed it, thanks Tess :D 'Different' sounds good too - not sure about it being second single material though.
Looks like 'Candy' could well be his first number one in eight years - it's zooming up the charts and is #7 already. After tonight's performance it should easily get to #1 although whether it can stay there through the week is a different matter. Graham Norton on Friday will be good promo and hopefully he has more lined up for during the week.

Currently on itunes

UK #3 (should be no1 sometime soon)

Germany #9

Austria #8

Luxemburg #7

Italy #3

Netherlands #9

Swizerland #12

I wonder if he has any promo lined up outside the UK.

The acoustic version of candy is horrible

Different sound good though. :cheer:

Really enjoyed the performance. Was much better than the last big comeback performance from three years ago. Vocally he could have been better but it's an odd song to sing live due to how fast it is and he was moving around quite a bit. The part where he jumped on Louis was hilarious. We all know their history so they must have patched things up  He said on twitter that Louis only gave him a fiver to do that

The performance was very entertaining and fun. Lots going on on stage which was unusual for a Rob performance but it worked well. It's now #1 on Itunes and should stay there if he promotes during the week. Had a quick look on DS to read everyone slagging him as it's always a good laugh - was amused the sheer amount of people who said he was really fat and had piled on the pounds considering he's said himself he's never been in better shape.

I am totally amazed at how weel it's done De Niro, Louis faces was a treat tonight , I bet he never thought he would get 'that close' to Robbie

Cannot wait to see him on Graham N on Friady, I love that show, he is doing an interview as well as singing so that should be some fun & lets hope the performace helps him to get to No 1 , a right slap in the gob for all the naysayers who keep knocking him at every opportunity... Go Robbie Go !!!!

Wash out your ears  , the accoustic version is fab, everyone loves it & i wish he had done a similar version on the EP but unfortunately he didn't

I enjoyed the performance tonight. Hey, it's a fun song. And it did look like he was having fun. Not as much fun as Louis though. :P But much more fun than that poor mortified man in the front row

Robbie said the guy in the fron row had eyes like a cow

He did.

Awww and I just love that accoustic version of Candy.   Different still sounds a bit 'meh' to my ears though -_-

Rob looks pretty certain to score his first #1 in eight years on Sunday with 'Candy'. Still has a substantial lead after three days on Itunes. I am sure he is delighted. The album is probably going to be comfortably the fastest seller of 2012 with between 150-200K sold first week - maybe more but tbh album sales are extremely bad this year.

It sure is totally amazing , No 1 single & dare I say it No 1 album would put a huge smile on Robbies face as well as mine. I guess the reason why the O2 gigs are after the album release date is to try & increase the longevity of the album sales & stop it dropping like a stone. A lot more effort seem to be going on this time around to get it right. I really like the idea of they releasing a track per day on the radio, RW com have tweeted asking fans to pick the tracks they want played from the new album which is a nice idea.

JLS are really pushing their album this week tv wise, Daybreak Monday, Thhis Morning today. I am not sure they have got this single right, I have seen better from them , then again I thought Candy was dreadful & look at what's happened to that :P

Its looking likely to be one of Robbies most successful era in a while. I hope its promoted correctly and marketed well which by the outskirts they seem to be doing well this time, if so it will be his most successfull album for a while.
