Is anyone other than me looking forward to the return of X Factor AU? Mainly for the return of mega-bitch Mel B as a full time judge (rather than just a guest like in the UK). Will she do better than last year? Will Natalie stop being so nice? Will Guy stop being the smuggest c**t on the panel? Will Ronan Keeting bore off? Will it manage to be more interesting than X Factor USA again?

Watched the first episode last night, it's SO much better than our version! Mel B is fabulous, I maintain she is an awful mentor from what I saw last year but she's a phenomenal judge. I wanted to hug her when she said that wedding singer was boring, he really was. Bella was amazing especially, goosebumps for the entire performance <3

 

Definitely properly following this series, Ronan is a lot better than I expected too. Guy is such a twat though, I can't really explain why but he is so punchable! Natalie does seem too nice but she's great fun.

So happy Josh Brooks came back and SMASHED it. God I want his babies. Didn't even mind his emotional blackmail.

Did anyone see Angela Vayne the other day? Talk about SuBo moment, I was laughing at her thinking 'bless her, she's gonna be awful and get laughed off the stage' but she was SO good :o

^ I thought she was good considering how batshit crazy she is, but I thought it was very cruise ship.

Watched episode 1, Mel B still amazing, want her to crank the bitch back up though. Great judge for the auditions, awful mentor though, what she did to Jacquie last year was ridiculous.

I'd say that Samantha Jade is an absolute cert, it's a bit fishy as Guy knew her beforehand... Natalie surely has the winner though, I hope she chooses Bella F, Vendulka and Shiane but I'm not sure the latter two are ready, Shiane especially always looks really beyond nervous and she won't win, Angel is too shouty though and I think Bella H and Morgan are obvious fodder although I like them

I always find it disappointing that other shows get such big talent helping them out at Judges Houses, but we always get the same predictable disappointments.

Okay, so I decided to watch a few of the girls' auditions, can't say I've been watching any of the series as much as I feel I'd enjoy it.

 

And, I can't remember who it was, think it was Bella doing Skinny Love at her audition - WHY DID RONAN FEEL THE NEED TO STAND ON THE TABLE AND CLAP? I've never had an opinion on him, but from that one video, I think I'd HATE him as a judge.

Top 12 was revealed the other day, exactly the 3 girls (Bella F, Angel and Shiane) I would have chosen, although I'm gutted for Vendulka as she was amazing too. The groups are AWFUL though, I've barely heard What About Tonight sing one note in tune and they're joined by two other boybands :(

 

I should imagine Natalie easily has the winner!

Just discovered Bella, she's absolutely amazing! Shiane is pretty good too. I won't be able to watch it live like I can UK and US due to timezones but I'm definitely following this now.

First live show and result done, I'll spoiler it for those who maybe haven't seen it just yet!

I was so shocked Samantha was bottom 2; vocally she's probably the 2nd best behind Angel. She has the look and the performance as well, I just don't know what happened! Adil was good too but pretty badly mentored, much as Mel B is an absolutely fabulous judge I think she's a terrible mentor and there is a reason why she's the one to get an act sent home on the first week two years in a row! What About Tonight were absolutely ABYSMAL last night also; I didn't think they could get any worse :mellow: Angel was by far and away the best, followed by Shiane but it was a pretty mediocre live show considering all the talent. For me though the bottom 2 should've been What About Tonight and Nathaniel with WAT going.
