Posted September 6, 201212 yr Who do you think will come out ahead, Amelia Lily - You Bring Me Joy or Tulisa - Live It Up?
September 6, 201212 yr Amelia ahead but not #1, methinks. Tulisa's song doesn't scream "hit" but I can see it going top ten.
September 6, 201212 yr I think Ne-Yo could have a second week at #1 or The Script could climb by default. I hope that Amelia will be higher than Tulisa, but I would like both to be Top 10. I don't know if Amelia has had much radio airplay to debut high in the Top 10 (has it done well on Capital?)
September 6, 201212 yr Is there a need for the "neither" option if there's a "___ ahead, but not #1" option?
September 6, 201212 yr I think Ameli will be number 1, Lily will struggle to make the top 10 :P It worries me that a budget, vacuum of personality or a completely bottom of the barrel song in every way are actually contending for number 1. As it stands though, I don't think either will, there doesn't seem to be that much hype behind either.
September 6, 201212 yr Neither of them will be anywhere near #1. Tulisa will be about #8 and Amelia will be extremely lucky to go top 10. It'll be Ne-Yo vs. The Script again for #1, maybe Flo Rida could challenge if he continues to increase at the ridiculous rate he is going now, could even be something from the Paralympics closing ceremony (fingers crossed that one poster who keeps tipping 'Viva La Vida' is right :P)
September 6, 201212 yr I think Ameli will be number 1, Lily will struggle to make the top 10 :P Erm...? :P
September 6, 201212 yr Erm...? :P Simply answering the poll question :P Will Ameli or Lily be #1? Edited September 6, 201212 yr by C.W
September 6, 201212 yr Author Is there a need for the "neither" option if there's a "___ ahead, but not #1" option? That did occur to me after I posted, but by then there was nothing I could do about it...

September 6, 201212 yr Simply answering the poll question :P Ah, yes. :D I think Vidcapper is being a little too optimistic! :P
September 6, 201212 yr I predict: 04 The Killers 'Runaway' 06 Amelia Lily 'You Bring Me Joy' 09 Tulisa feat. Tyga 'Live It Up' 34 Michel Telo 'Ai Se Eu Te Pego' Killers should be the the highest new entry, they've been played on Absolute and Radio 1 non-stop over the past few weeks.
September 6, 201212 yr I don't see either reaching #1 - but Tulisa's fanbase will surely see 'Live It Up' debut higher than 'You Bring Me Joy'. In terms of music quality, Amelia Lily should debut higher than Tulisa. I'm hoping Amelia gets that top 10 debut, whilst I'd quite happily see Tulisa debut just outside - it's only going to do a 'What Do You Take Me For?' anyway and drop very quickly out of the top 40.
September 6, 201212 yr Oh yes, I forgot about The Killers again - I think they'll definitely have the highest new entry.
September 6, 201212 yr Author Oh yes, I forgot about The Killers again - I think they'll definitely have the highest new entry. I can't offer an opinion on this - I haven't heard their new single even once! And before someone says 'Youtube' - until this thread I didn't know they had a new single out at all, so I could hardly have looked it up! :P ************************ OK, I've finally heard it and was pleasantly surprised - easily their best since 'Somebody Told Me'. September 6, 201212 yr Ideally neither will be no. 1 but I'm expecting another Tulisa victory. The X Factor bringing the promotion with her presence. :P A Michel Teló Vs The Killers chart battle would bring the :D to the occasion, but that'll never happen.
September 6, 201212 yr Yeah, I can't see either of them getting #1 but I think Tulisa will fare better than Amelia.
September 6, 201212 yr "Runaways" please. Amelia Lily has killed an amoebic interest I had in her with a dull song and Tulisa was dreadful anyway.
September 6, 201212 yr They're both very attractive but i don't think either of them will be number 1 next week. It's between Ne-Yo, The Script, Flo Rida & Coldplay.
