October 16, 201212 yr Author Literally horrified to find out this is now gonna be up against Girls Aloud's new one when it's released. I can't choose between them, I love both! I guess this'll be the point where everyone starts calling Olly a flop :( Edited October 16, 201212 yr by ThePensmith

I guess this'll be the point where everyone starts calling Olly a flop :( Both will have colossal airplay so it will come down to which listeners perceive as the better song. I'm sure no one will label Olly a flop but it has been made very easy for him to remain successful so far. Having said that I don't deny he's worked very hard to maintain his profile. October 16, 201212 yr Overtaken Heart Skips A Beat to become my favourite single of his, I can't stop playing it!

I guess this'll be the point where everyone starts calling Olly a flop :( Remember PenSmith though that even if Olly doesn't get the number one on the release week, he could still get it the week after. "Dance With Me Tonight" didn't go straight to number one but it got there in the end. Anyway, why would number two be a flop?.

But everyone's been waiting for Girls Aloud (myself included) to reunite for months now and the song thankfully matches the anticipation. And because of Cheryl being national treasure etc everyone loves her more too. Popjustice and the likes of those sort of blogs have a personal vendetta against Olly and everything he does despite all his success, like he doesn't deserve it. They'll f***ing love the fact he's out the same day.
October 16, 201212 yr Olly will probably get there when he has the second album version available, if he was to lose against GA. But tbh, i'm not 100% sure GA have it as easy as everyone is expecting them too.

October 17, 201212 yr Don't worry Alex, the Girls Aloud song is shocking and will only interest fans like yourself, Olly will probably be number 1. In any case he'll grab the number 1 album with no real competition out that week. No one could label him a flop, he's done very well and will continue to do so as his songs get better which is the polar opposite to the rest of the X Factor mob like Leona Lewis. October 18, 201212 yr Author Official video's landing next week apparently :) Can't wait to see it! The storyline for it makes it sound like a really funny vid - he's apparently meant to keep crossing paths with this girl - his 'Troublemaker' - who's ridiculously hot but is also a dumbass who keeps getting fired from all her jobs. October 20, 201212 yr I'm really liking this at the moment! Flo Rida's rap still seems a bit pointless (except the intro, but that was the same with The Satudays' "Higher"). I can't help but find the song similar to Britney Spears's "(You Drive Me) Crazy" though(!) - mainly the "trouble-troublemaker, that's your middle name" line with the "you drive me crazy" line of the chorus from each song
October 21, 201212 yr (I have heard this and really like it just for the record, hope it can be another #1 for him).
October 21, 201212 yr i really don't like either song, but girls aloud's new song seems incredibly niche... i rly can't see it getting to #01. olly probs has this in the bag.
October 22, 201212 yr Author And here it is! 4aQDOUbErNg Such a good way of interpreting the song - it would have been so obvious to have gone for the cliched 'vamp following him round in a club' but this really works! So funny too :) He's a lot like Will Young in terms of how he makes videos, he always goes for something different :) Edited October 22, 201212 yr by ThePensmith
October 22, 201212 yr  Amazing! Brilliant video, and like you say its something different to normal!
October 22, 201212 yr Easily his best single for me now and I completely get Theo's (You Drive Me) Crazy comparisons as well the more I listen to it! Decent video too.
October 22, 201212 yr I must be the only one who doesn't like the video? The actors are crappy and it should have had more of a glossy American feel so he doesn't potentially have to do another one for the US, I think that would have suited the song better anyway. Plus the girl is not very good looking. Please don't let me go, Busy and Heart skips a beat were good but his other videos all have a budget feel IMO, he deserves better. Why should he have to 'glossy' himself for the American market? That's utter bullshit. If he'd done the predictable 'vamp following him round in club' like I said above he wouldn't have carried it off and he would have been a laughing stock - not saying that in a rude way but it wouldn't have been Olly or what he's about. Isn't it a better to have an artist who thinks outside the box and tries something different for a video like he does?
