I am AGOG at Nashville. Connie Britton not being utterly slappable and hateful is possibly the biggest surprise I've had in many a moon. She was brilliant. I didn't know sleazy of c**t Powers Boothe (seriously, what a name) was in it. Naturally playing a sleazy old c**t *.*

I hope her sister gets a chance to be a bitch soon, everything I've seen her in before she's been a fabulously passive aggressive bitch so I want MORE. The story seems quite simple though, maybe a full one season order would DO, unless they spread out a little, but it might be hard with a fairly limited character base.

We talk about NBC being on the verge of becoming an office supplies company but CW are surely going out of the business next?! Abysmal ratings.

4.9 Modern Family

4.7 Modern Family

3.4 X-Factor

3.0 Criminal Minds

2.8 Nashville

2.6 Survivor

2.6 CSI

2.4 The Middle

1.9 Chicago Fire

1.9 The Neighbors

1.8 Law & Order SVU

1.4 Guys With Kids

1.3 Arrow (also 4 million viewers)

1.1 Animal Practice

1.0 Supernatural

Arrow was The CW's biggest opening for a new show since 2009. Which I think was for Hellcats (we all know how that ended)

Hellcats started in 2010! And it wasn't even the biggest opening that year (Nikita )

1.3 is even better for them, beating NBC in the first half-hour and giving Supernatural a boost too! Hopefully it doesn't drop too much, anything 0.8+ would probably be a hit for them but it could even drop as low as 0.5 and still get another season. I don't expect it to do a Ringer anyway.

Shows how much I know lol.

In viewers yes, in ratings it matched The Secret Circle's premiere last year.

Final adjustments:

4.8 Modern Family (9pm)

3.5 X-Factor

2.8 Survivor

2.0 The Neighbors

The Secret Circle was a bit slow/cheesy/rubbish and Ringer was just downright shocking. Arrow just needs to maintain the quality to keep the ratings up, simple really.

The pilot for Mockingbird Lane (NBC's remake of the Munsters) looks like its gonna make a 'special' appearance on the NBC schedule on Fri 26th.

Looks like someone's playing the contingency game

Horrible ratings for Chicago Fire. NBC has really lost it.
The Secret Circle - what a yawn of a show. I watched the pilot a few months ago and forgot all about it now  It's been cancelled now so I won't even bother.

4.2 The Big Bang Theory

3.4 Two and a Half Men

2.9 The X Factor

1.6 Last Resort

1.6 The Vampire Diaries

1.4 30 Rock

1.3 Beauty and the Beast

1.2 Up All Night

FOX and CW shows should expect to be adjusted downwards a few decimals apparently. Good showing for the CW nonetheless. Appalling for The X Factor - last week's Voice clip show cleared 3.0!

CW matching ABC in the 8pm slot would be remarkable. But yeah, I expect at least a few tenths being dropped off in the finals (probably 1.3 for VD and 1.0 for B&TB)
To be FAIR To The X Factor, it's hard to compare it with The Voice because it didn't have to go up against a VP debate. Not that it would have done all that much more at any rate, but still.

No dear, it was on 8-9. VP debates didn't start til 9.
