Well after ABC had two genuine success stories with their dramas last season for the first time in ages, they had to come back down. I'm hoping Mistresses gets given the Sunday 10/9c slot.
Apparently baseball was delayed yesterday and ran well into the 10pm shows. Also American Horror Story premiered, so that may have caused some damage.
I'm happy with a 2.8 for Suburgatory, I know it has a much stronger lead in this season than last, but it was down to 1.8/1.9 territory by the season finale. That's a bit shit for Nashville though, I was expecting a 2.3/2.4 this week but maybe it can stabilise.

FOX is developing a single-cam adaptation of Gavin & Stacey. *groan*

CBS is also raping the heart and soul of the British Bake Off. :manson:

Quite how the American's are going to make the utter abomination that is Gavin & Stacey worse I don't know.

Well, not having walking sack of shit and general c**t extraordinare JAMES CORDEN eating up the entire TV screen might help.
The abysmal Animal Practice has officially been killed by NBC. The slightly less shit but still entirely unfunny Whitney to replace it.

GOOD. I liked the show but I just couldn't bear seeing it have more and more episodes air without the official cancellation.

First rule of TV shows addicts. Do not attach to shows that are bound to get cancelled.

They are letting it survive for 3 more weeks, by the end of which I wouldn't be surprised to see Emily Owens rating better than it.

X Factor!!! What the hell happened? Secretly glad tho.

Wasn't it majorly affected by the baseball that overran? I think east coast missed the first 40 minutes of the show.

From what I understand by trawling the comments of Tvbythenumbers, after the baseball was delayed Fox aired a Ben & Kate rerun, then a bit of the X Factor randomly before cutting after a commercial break to a bit of The Mindy Project before interrupting that with Baseball.

Also, it appears that Canada got most of the X Factor on CTV before they were told by Fox to pull it with 15mins to go. Apparently some Fox feeds in Canada got to see the X Factor in full. Basically it was a royal cock up.
