Opposite The Voice? Good luck with that! :D

They've chickened out. They're now squeezing The X Factor into one hour to air between 9:30-10:30 (extending their primetime) with the usual comedies airing 8-9:30.

But it just had to be Mindy that drew the short straw and still won't be on. :( I don't know how they're working it though because the East coast did see the majority of the judges houses but the West coast didn't.

0.3 Nikita :(

Nikita was my favourite show of the past week. Not even syndication can save it now surely. :(

Other news, Private Practices is done after the 13th episode this season, Mindy is getting an extra two episodes (taking it to 24) and ABC has ordered two extra scripts for Last Resort and 666 (along with extra eps of Greys, MF, The Middle & Castle).

The silver lining with Nikita is that the ratings are so bad that they can only improve, in contrast to most shows that go down. At least I like to hope, do you think it might get a 0.2 or even a 0.1? Either way I can't see it lasting the whole season.
Poor Nikita, that really is dire. But yay for 666 getting 2 more eps, hopefully we get some ANSWERS.

They need to shoot an ending for Nikita like now. I wonder if the 2 eps for 666PA are also to give it an ending, considering its bad ratings.

3.3 Once Upon a Time

2.8 Revenge

2.3 The Amazing Race

1.9 The Good Wife

1.8 666 Park Avenue

All but The Amazing Race up vs last week so not a bad night! Although CBS might have some pretty big adjustments because of Football overrun.
Just watched the pilot of Beauty and the Beast and it was HORRID. Bad acting (Kristin Kreuk should be SHOT), bad plot, neverending detective shit (with the most boring case EVER), cliched characters (black sassy boss who always eats when people talk to him; bitch who becomes a detective so that she could solve her mother's murder; lab guy who falls in love with the bitch above but they will never be together). Ugh. Wasted 40 minutes of my life on that.

OH

well I can be happy in the meantime

New Girl, Raising Hope and Shark Tank have all just been given another two episodes and 3 additional scripts (not episodes) have been ordered for both Beauty and the Beast and Emily Owens MD.

Shark Tank is also heading for 9pm on Fridays from Nov 2nd to make way for Last Man Standing and Malibu County on Fridays at 8pm. ABC clearly have a lot of faith in that pair.

Ad rates for the season are out:

Some pretty expensive comedies there!

I'm not sure I understand how that works - why does Revolution (which is huge in 18-49s) command less than 666 Park Avenue for example?

Isn't it based on what was EXPECTED of the shows before they actually aired? I'm not sure many expected Revolution to be this big, especially not given the fate of previous shows of a similar nature like FlashForward.
