Just A Fool could be the big hit she needs to be honest, country radio could well latch on even if pop doesn't entirely and I could feasibly see it being a long running top 30 or top 20 hit!

 

Thank god it's not Make The World Move as rumoured, worst track on the album probably!

I thought they were gonna use "Make The World Move" as a crossover promotion tool for Cee-Lo's Xmas album & her own flogging album? But nevermind, I don't really remember "Just A Fool", but she might abstain some love from Country music fans.

Fantastic choice, probably my favourite Xtina song (excluding Moves Like Jagger, my #1 of 2011) since Candyman :o

It's certainly up there with Your Body pour moi. I can see it doing strong business in the US if they put out a video sharpish (she's performing it on The Voice finale next month) but I doubt if it'll save the album.

It doesn't matter how good it is at this point, I don't expect it to be a hit. You Lost Me was also a great song, Just A Fool won't do as bad but it won't help her career either.

New in at 28. LOL. Might've had a chance if the silly bitch would've stepped foot on British soil and actually promoted.

A place higher than Bionic's second week. Tragic :( It's sad seeing the likes of Nelly and Xtina post such huge flops with decent albums!

Oh dear that's abysmal, and it's actually a very good album to boot unlike The Spirit Indestructible :(

I'm genuinely surprised. I feel like there was more hype for "Lotus" than "Bionic" and that got #1.

It just feels like the old guard don't have much of a hunger for the whole thing anymore. At least Timberlake is honest about it and got out to do movies. Britney hobbles around the stage like she resents it. Christina is just invisible, there has been little to no support of this album.

It's odd because she speaks passionately about her music but she has an amazing platform with The Voice and chose not to even perform Your Body on there. Maybe she doesn't like it but if it would've helped sell albums (thus keeping her career afloat) then she's basically shot herself in the foot. Lazy bitch.

 

Isn't she taking a break from The Voice next season to "concentrate on her music"? Surely she should've skipped THIS season so she can concentrate on really promoting it on its opening week. Or at the very least if she couldn't get out of this season she should've postponed the album til early next year. I don't think it'll matter what her next single is as it'll already be too late to revive the album by the time she's got free time on her hands to promote.

Tragic chart position and sales :drama: If only she had done a tiny bit of promo here she could have gone Top 15/20

The standouts for me after a few weeks are 'Your Body' (obv), 'Army Of Me', 'Cease Fire' and 'Around The World'. I'm not really feeling the ballads at all :(

 

Overall, it's actually a pretty solid album! It's DEFINITELY a step up from 'Bionic', but not a patch on 'Stripped'.

Tragic chart runs so far - This era is over unless she she starts to promote hard over here! :cry:

It's pretty abundantly clear that she doesn't care if she's successful or not, maybe she realises there's not much you can do if radio won't play your songs but still.
