Right enough, looks like Robbie will be ignored for the first time by radio 1, its on the radio 2 list too which is a bad sign for radio1 plays. Looks like thats his chance of a singles no1 gone then!

I think Candy was released far too early to tv and radio, it's still 5 weeks to the release date and I'm fed up with it now.

Yeah so do - it entered at no11 on the radio airplay chart last week and stayed there this week so its getting hammered but Robbie will wait until the end of october to release - get a top 5 new entry and fall quickly down the chart within 6 weeks (unless promo keeps it up!)

Well most of the songs added this week are out on 22nd October. The Robbie single's not out until the week after so if they're going to playlist it, they'll do it next week. But I do agree, it's been released to radio and TV much too far in advance of its official release. Around now would have been the ideal time to premiere it.

It reminda me of shame!

I bet 2 Fingers by Jake Bugg will be alisted before his new albums released because its his pre album single - hes a great artist, cant wait for his album!

I wonder if they will playlist the Robbie Williams single. Probably not, I'd imagine.

 

I think they will. Next week or the one after that... (they have a far too good relationship for R1 not to). He should have released the song two weeks sooner imo. He is possibly too lazy to promote this and the album seperately so he releases them back to back :lol: If R1 snubs Candy (I doubt it) they are set to A-list his next single for a long-long time.

I'd be surprised if they didn't, she was a guest on the Nick Grimshaw Breakfast Show last Friday and they played the song. (however I only heard like 10 seconds of it cause' I had to get into school, so I haven't listened to it properly)

The albums not out until 26th november, so is this single being held back for 8 weeks? Seems strange with capital playing it already and her promo on Alan Carr on friday, surely a release this or next week would make sense?
