Yeah, as the comments mention this is a bit of a non-article, there's no way they wouldn't retain a massively successful brand that sells well with every release.

 

Personally I'm looking forward to Now 100 in the Summer of 2018. :D

They're such a big seller that I can't imagine *no-one* would pick up the brand name!

But the point is they might be forced to sell as part of the takeover deal.

And in that case it's the brand name that makes it such a lucrative buy,

so whoever bought it would keep it.

Let's face it, the Now! series is practially a licence to print money.

I think that the Now series ending would be the worst news I've ever heard.

 

The Now albums are a part of who I are and they are the reason why I got into music.

Given the amount of songs they have to get the rights to put on each CD, is it really? I have no idea either way but I can't imagine it's inexpensive to secure the rights to 120 of the biggest songs of each year...

But they already have the rights for most of the songs!
