:(

I was hoping they wouldn't get back together like..ever.

They have a couple of decent songs but overall I've been liking the solo material more.

Woodkid - Run Boy Run  used on the O2 TV ad, this has to chart top 40 at some point
I cant help but feel the majority of this episode of TXF is 'car crash tv' :s

It's much less of a car crash than last year so far IMO (which is a bad thing because the car crash NESS was pretty much the only entertaining thing last year).

Their solo careers are going amazingly. N-Dubz's biggest hit (apart from Number 1) was Playing With Fire.

I'm not watching, but what a boring list of songs they're performing this week (not that the songs are bad, but I'm sure most of them have been performed dozens of times on the show already...).

Seriously, X Factor make it seem like there were only like 20 songs released pre-1990.

Following X Factor performances so far:

81 Kelly Clarkson/ What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger)

539 Queen/ Don't Stop Me Now (Remastered)

I think maybe "amazingly" is stretching it given that each of their last solo hits failed to make the top 10. I know that N-Dubz hardly set the charts alight as a group but you could reasonably expect certainly Tulisa to have done better given her profile on X Factor.

Have you HEARD Live it Up? A song like that would never go top 10. Even if Lady Gaga released a song like that it would miss the top 10.

If Tulisa recorded another dance-pop song it would easily get #1.

97. Saturday 6th October (X Factor Performance) - Lucy Spraggan

I was thinking we could be seeing another Lucy fake around, forgot that you could just buy the performances :P IIRC they appeared on the feed last year (but just none of them sold enough to chart), if they are chart eligible now then it'll be interesting to see how high this can go, top 100 on pre-orders alone. The song is called 'Mountains' BTW, but that isn't showing yet.

Surely part of having an amazing chart career is in correct song choice re: singles. Songs can, and do, go top 10 just on a name.

Now up to #81 and also:

131. Saturday 6th October (X Factor Performance) - James Arthur

701. Saturday 6th October (X Factor Performance) - Melanie Masson

805. The Best (X Factor Performance) - District3

1006. Saturday 6th October (X Factor Performance) - Wild Card

They haven't even updated with the name of the wildcard (Christopher Maloney) yet :drama: But they've updated District3's song name? Odd.

Ugh at James.
