I just don't get why Louis finds Rylan entertaining, its a singing contest it should be judged on the song, and Carolynne sang better than Rylan.

That was absolutely mad! Did anyone see that guy (presumingly the producer) whisper something in Louie's ear? Me and sis just said we bet he told him to take it to deadlock. I don't blame Gary for walking off TBH.

Gary Barlow storming off was GENIUS. I do hope Gary wins a BAFTA award for Best Acting in a Reality TV Show. :D

Seriously? Are we still hammering on, 9 series in, that X-Factor is a singing contest? It'd a television show!! Who cares who wins it, as long as the producers can pull in huge advertising revenue and high profits from voting's, it doesn't matter who wins!

Not only has the best singer gone but also the best looking act. I don't think I can be bothered anymore. Rylan probably is the only reason to watch now. There's so much average left. Ella was overrated last night and the only one left I liked last night was Kye.

When does Harry Hill's TV Burp return to our screens? He's usually spot on when it comes to taking the piss out of X Factor. :lol:

I don't know why anyone's shocked tbh. It was obvious that was going to happen. Anyway none of them were goin to win and they've now got a drama for everyone to talk about.

That was so blatantly scripted! We even said this is being set up for Gary to storm off, it was so obvious!!!

 

 

If it was scripted then that's a horrible thing to do to the girl - you dont say her name and then change your mind. If I was Gary I would have walked off too.

I think Louis just got caught up in the moment and the words tripped out of his mouth and landed on the floor. I suspect he meant to say "the act I'm sending home is Carolynne" but somehow ended up saying "I wanna save Carolynne". The simple fact they never played the X Factor jingle and Dermot had to ask Louis to confirm what he just said proves the show is scripted. I reckon even Dermot knows the results before the bottom 2 even sing their final songs. :lol:

It was! Of course its entirely scripted (as if Louis had any say in letting it go to deadlock) but I like to think of it in some way as payback for Gary inflicting Frankie Cocozza on us last year!

 

Oh yeah! BAFTA too to Gary! Thanks goodness it looked like Carolyn had more dignity than her mentor.

I don't think anyone's shocked, just disappointed. It's not even because she went out to Rylan. More that there are at least 7 less than mediocre acts left. So neither would win but just who will? I don't think we could tape together a deserving winner from what we have left due to this years extremely poor talent pool.

It was indeed cruel but I still think it was scripted. It's possible that the producers didn't quite get the message to Louis and hence his dithering about but they definitely prompted him, the decision making judge often disappears during the sing off.

 

The way Louis' dithering made Gary keep standing up was hilarious, it was like he was thinking "oh shit, was that my cue"! Tulisa pointing at names on a pad was also odd, I do think Louis was panicking because he didn't know what he was supposed to do.

As Josh posted, all ITV care about is advertising revenue. If Leon "bum note" Jackson could win The X Factor, then there's hope for those 7 less than mediocre acts you're referring to. :lol:
