All abortion should be banned imo. There are plenty of couples wanting to adopt a new baby and not an older child as they are often offered. Those aborted babies could easily be found homes.

We'd all long ago formed the opinion that Common Sense and Charsui were in cahoots but it's pleasing to know that it has been confirmed. I've seen that particular "forum" which appears to have died a death thankfully.

I honestly am against it when there are so many couples preferring a baby to an older kid. Must be my Catholic upbringing. I'm against gay adoptin but hell I'd rather they got the unwanted babies than aborting them. By the way my opinion isn't homphobic as you can be against gay adoption and/or marriage without being homophobic.

Well it's off-topic what I mean is that I'm not homophobic at all but don't agree with two men or two women adopting, that's all. I think a child should be brought up by a man and a woman. Preferably not by a single parents either. Sometimes this happens due to out of relationship pregnancy or divorce though, so there are many single parents.

Yes, it's sad they feel the need to do this. I wouldn't have posted except that this is such an emotive subject.

 

If anyone wants to know my views, I think that abortion should not be considered a form of birth control. However, if unwanted pregnancies occur then it is better that it is terminated providing it is at an early stage. Before 12 weeks is preferable, but never, never later than 28 weeks unless there is an urgent medical cause.

My opinion is that it should stay at around 22 weeks. Because certain disorders are not discovered until the 2nd scan, and the date of that 2nd scan varies a lot from authority to authority.
