That's a bit low for a Barbra Striesand album usually her albums chart top 10, on her debut weeks.

It does seem quite low, although physical sales will surely see it at least Top 20.

Well I would have thought it would be higher, since I always thought Ellie would definitely have the number one album. It's not *awful*, but I would like to see it a little higher/

Hmm, I agree. It seems the only place she's really performing strongly on is iTunes, but I do believe 'Lights' was a strong iTunes seller too. I guess with it being Monday and people coming home from work and school and so on there's scope for it to rise a bit more but probably not by much. I wonder what this means for her prospects of #1.

Yeah, there is still time. And then again, Ellie isn't a massive album seller like Muse or Mumford and Sons which were number one on HMV etc. I do think she'll still be number one though, especially if people reckon she'll only need to sell over 60k.

Mumford & Sons' drop wasn't quite as catastrophic as the midweeks suggested so Ellie might still have a fight on her hands if the album is on to sell 60k-ish - but it could do more than that anyway. SHM's EP must still be selling loads if it's managed to hold off against 'Halcyon' for now!

 

Based on iTunes All Time Low could be the second highest new entry then, but I can't see anything going top 10 apart from Ellie (ATL's last album got to #20 so even if this one inexplicably does better it'll probably be scraping the top 15 at best). Perhaps the new ELO comp could do it but sales will be split between that and 'All Over The World'. Would love to see Tame Impala even in the top 40 :wub: Oh dear at Mika's progress so far but then this era has had bugger all exposure.

 

The new Barbra Streisand album is just a rarities and unreleased collection so I doubt it'll do much even on physicals.

As somebody suggested Walk The Moon could be the album #1 that's hardly unlikely looking at the above list from Liam :D

Yeah, no chance of that! :P But if the album sounds as great as Anna Sun, it *should* be Top 5.
