The 30k was just people who downloaded the track separately, actual album pre-orders have only counted as sales of the instant grat track since the week 'Mirrors' was released. Nevertheless, I think 100k is definitely achievable for David Bowie and he has no competition at all for the #1.

 

I'd like to see Bon Jovi at #2 just for the hilarity of being their 7th #2 album out of 8 chart entries since 2001 ('This Left Feels Right' getting to #4 being the only exception) :D They had 5 straight #1s before that so they're not as unlucky as that makes them sound.

 

Has been quite a quiet release for Stornoway, I'm sure Radio 1 supported their debut album fairly heavily? I love their song 'Zorbing' and I heard a track off their new album the other day which sounded decent.

Nice to see Hurts doing well, not much promotion for their new album, can only think of Jonathan Ross few weeks ago, which is great promo but other than that no significant radio/tv support that I'm aware of. Stay is such a classic for me!

Duke Dumont still SMASHING, will be interesting to see how high it gets in the days leading up to its release. As for The Saturdays, one thing to keep in mind; the 'Extended Mix' (basically just the version without Sean Paul, from what i can tell) is Pre-order Only, which could be part of the reason why the EP is doing so well

 

Didn't expect Clean Bandit to get that high, should be another Top 100 hit for them

'30 Days' also had a pre-order exclusive track IIRC and it did far worse than 'What About Us' (same with Girls Aloud's 'Something New'). I don't think the pre-order exclusive tracks really make that much of a difference, they probably appeal mainly to the core fanbase who would pre-order anyway.
