Probably because Indicud is just a powerhouse of an album. There doesn't seem to be any standout highlights which is why he isn't troubling the singles chart, but the album as a whole is incredible, so i'm glad it's getting some success.

People know of the album because of reading its rave reviews, word of mouth, visiting blogs / forums etc. It also only takes like an hour to stream the album, and you already have a good idea if you like it or now. You don't need a hit single to propel an album into the top 40, it just needs to be solid with plenty of exposure on the internet like Indicud has, and it should do fairly well.

Right, but I find it interesting that people are willing to do even that if they haven't bothered with his previous albums.

I expect physical sales will keep Buble comfortably at #1 overall, but Frank Turner will be #2 I guess going off iTunes. Will.i.am to get yet another #3 album?

Wow at Frank Turner :o Would love to see him getting a #2 album, sadly I think Emeli is just going to climb back there again though :rolleyes: He should at least be top 5 though.

 

Don't think '#willpower' is going to trouble the top 5, probably low top 10. Very dead release week otherwise, Phoenix should get top 20 and Snoop Lion might possibly be top 40 but beyond that can't see any other new entries.

Passenger's album up to #4 now, and the 2nd-highest artist album! Looks like this could potentially reach #1 when 'Let Her Go' reaches full power.

 

Daft Punk's album still doing incredibly well on pre-orders. Time to start wondering if this may become the first album in 18 months to sell 200K in a week.

200k may be a little ambitious - but it definitely has a good shot of beating Bublé's first week sales (so 125k+).

Yeah I'm not sure on 200k+ either, considering even 100k is phenomenal amount for a dance album.
