I worry for Imagine Dragons and Bastille since they were propped up by their EP sales last time.

 

I'm sure they'll both be OK . Maybe my initial hopes of number 1 might be a bit too much for Bastille, but its not out for another two weeks so it will hopefully just keep rising and get a top 10 finish. As for the former, I think it just needs airplay to raise awareness.

Foals' last album did 15k first week, while Bullet's got nearly 22k (both releases were only a few weeks apart). Should be close, depends on if Foals' popularity has increased enough

I don't think Bullet will challenge Foals, I wouldn't be surprised if 'Temper Temper' actually does less than 'Fever' did in week 1 (speaking as someone who pays absolutely no attention to Bullet, admittedly) while I'm expecting a pretty big increase for Foals. 'Total Life Forever' only had a week in the top 40 (!) but spent longer in the top 100 than 'Antidotes' which to me indicates that it was a slow burning album that won them a lot of fans who will buy 'Holy Fire' in the first week after not doing so for 'Total Life Forever'. Maybe I'm just clutching at straws here though :P What were the first week sales of 'Antidotes'?

Oh, Modestep's album has finally happened! They should have released it after 'Sunlight', can't see it doing very much now (although top 10 on iTunes is quite an encouraging start).

 

Bullet For My Valentine not even close to Foals. Obviously physicals could change that but I think this is Foals' week, as the highest new entry if not #1.

 

Mic Righteous to be another rapper to buck the general trend of doing far better on the singles chart than the albums chart.

Amazed at Emilia's success, four years ago I saw her live in the Melodifestivalen final (where she flopped hard) and it looked as if her career was winding down! But to potentially get a top ten album in the UK, 15 years after her one big single? Bizarre but what a career reinvention :o
