Robbie Williams has been climbing quite significantly with Take the Crown recently, I'm thinking this could be due to a mixture of replays of his Summertime Ball performances on Capital TV, the price reduction to £5.99 and new single 'Be a Boy' which I've just seen on TV.

I wonder if now that they've got - presumably - a stronger following after the success of their previous album, they can receive more initial longevity in the charts unlike 'End Credits' and 'Blind Faith' which were quick to leave the Top 40. I've heard 'Lost and Not Found' a couple of times on Radio 1 but am not totally sold on it just yet.

Not sure, but that one video - well, performance video - is the more promotion I've seen for it than back in February! :P

Just realised with Tom Odell releasing next week he seems to be the only new album contender for the album chart looking at the release schedule its pretty piss poor, Glastonbury kicks off next weekend, probably a late resurgence for old albums to climb back up the charts.

 

Tom Odell seems to have picked a good week to release a new album.

Hoping for Kanye to get a second week at #1 then. Tom will probably do it but his album pre-order isn't exactly smashing on iTunes (#107 and #138, most #1 albums do at least get top 100 on pre-order) so he might miss out if Kanye continues to sell strongly.
