It's not all scripted. And there are no way that the Mollie dating was staged : "two of the girls attempting to set up single-Mollie in three staged locations (restaurant/beach/club)". These were all from different days and E! made it look like it was all from the same day putting them together.

For example, apparently the LA fair was before the VMA (apparently, I read that on Twitter). E! make it look staged, but it's not really.

For the scripts, I only blame Rochelle and Una. I'm pretty sure Mollie, Vanessa and Frankie weren't scripted this episode.

Nope, I don't think Frankie's panic attack was staged. Most of the situations not strongly pertaining to their personal lives probably are though!

All in my opinion: For instance, the two guys at the restaurant were most likely extras. The beach/surfing practice will have been set up especially by programme makers to give them something to do, and the "hot surfing instructor" just fitted in with the "set Mollie up" theme very neatly, as did him being taken so that the search continued.

If people watched an episode of 24/7 and then saw an episode of Chasing The Saturdays, I'd think it was clear to see when they're being natural and when they're not.

Honestly though, we can all believe or not believe whatever we choose to! :P It's just an entertainment programme not to be taken too seriously really.

Well, yes, the practice could have been the idea of E! (or the girls, to be honest) but then there were a few moments like that in 24/7 too. I remember they did an outdoor activity during the show. It was probably staged to show the girls doing something fun. No one cared at that time, so I don't know why people would care now....

The thing is, it seems like to you it was all staged in one day (E! made them took that lunch in the morning, then sent them on a beach during the afternoon, and then to a nightclub all in one day to fit the "set Mollie up" theme as you say...when it wasn't). That dinner was in August, and that surfing lesson in October. E! just put the scenes together because it fits the theme, yes, but to think it was all staged from the very begining and and they already knew they would put these scenes for one episode is a bit too sceptical. They probably didn't know yet there would be so many scenes of the girls trying to hook up Mollie until they started the editing.

Edit: Maybe some of you read my original post already, but never mind. Let's just all enjoy the show. ^_^ I enjoyed Episode 1 and Episode 2 was fabulous. :D Vanessa >>>>>>>>>>

The Wanted have landed a deal with E! as well to do a reality show, produced by Ryan Seacrest.

Yet more comparisons to be made!

I say good luck to The Wanted but I won't be watching

Can't wait for the next episode though

Chasing the Saturdays was #1 on the top 10 most viewed programming on E! during it's UK premiere with 72,000 households tuning in.

What are the ratings usually like on E!? Great news.

I hope it picks up a bit in the US. The show, song, EP and their overall popularity would actually benefit with them actually being in the country though. <_<

Under 10,000 - Flop

15,000 - Bad

30,000 - Average

50,000 - Good

60,000 - Excellent but only Kim and kourtny takes Miami get this high

70,000 - Spectacular

70,000+ - Fantastic

Just watched Episode 4. OMG I just love Una and Vanessa. Una's noises and hilarity when feeding her daughter (can't spell her name properly) and her comforting Frankie when she had a panic attack was just amazing, and Vanessa's "you'll lose yo best memba" *hair flip* = ROFL.

Vanessa is quickly becoming my favourite member.

I totally agree, I doubt the show,Ep & Music will pick up if they don't return to America within the next two weeks, I don't understand why their not promoting. The ratings could easily pick up if they promoted What About Us solid for even two weeks, radio tours and interviews/performances. I'm expecting the ratings tomorrow for Chasing The Saturdays to be bellow 500,000. Maybe even 300,000.

I really hope the show gets renewed for a second series as they could begin filming in May while promoting Higher/ Single 2 from their new album. They would be in the US for at least 3 months and I think they would be promoting a lot more.

What About Us has underperformed, 40,000 is okay, but the album at this rate will be lucky to pass 10,000 sales.

Re episode 4: SHOCK Vanessa was the STAR again.

Episode 3 is so far really good, I felt for Mollie when she was talking about David, it was really awkward in the restaurant when Frankie and Vanessa were scripted to set Mollie up with the two hot guys, who I am pretty sure were on a date with each other.

Could you possibly send me the link to watch it? As I can't seem to find it anywhere. Also the link for episode 4 if you have it.

Thank you :)

Vanessa just constantly reminds me why she's my absolute favourite. I seriously STAN for her. She is so funny.

I would literally die if she did to me what she did to Rochelle by the pool, I'd be mortified. Made for good TV though, she's amazing

After watching Episode 3 & 4 (Thanks to Martyn) I honestly think Not Giving Up On Love will be released as the next single, the fact it's been mentioned in the show & played in the background numerous times. Also when Una says to Rochelle 'I really like the song we recorded yesterday, I think it will make the album' I just think it seems to make sense, and it also sounds A M A Z I N G.

It would be great if something even like 4Music decided to start playing Chasing The Saturdays, I know they sometimes play Kim and Kourtney.
