I've not been keeping up with this at all. Since the live finals I've only ever watched the last 10 minutes on a Sunday night to see the 'Amdrams' but I haven't even seen those for the last two weeks! Have I missed anything mega?

Gary "I don't know what's more insulting. Your comments about Christopher or that fag ash breath"

Tulisa: :o

Only the above. That was from last week. Tonight's show was just incredibly bland - like eating water.

I only watched Kye, James and Ella - Kye was awful but Ella and James were fantastic, as expected. I was going to watch the rest, but there's no way I could have handled watching Jahmene butcher Listen, I saw he was singing it and had to turn off. Then again, having my 3 least favourite acts in a row was hardly appealing either

I will probably watch the rest on YT later, with the exception of Jahmene. It sounds petty but I just adore that song so much and I genuinely can't put myself through watching him scream all over it. I know that song calls for it in places but his way of doing it is still awful.

Couldn't watch the show last night, but I'm watching it on iPlayer soon...although it sounds like I'm not missing anything! :drama:

This really is the worst series of X Factor by a LONG shot. Dear god, they're all terrible bar James, Ella and maybe Union J.

Carolynne, Jade and Melanie were all FAR better than Christopher, Jahmene, District 3, Kye etc. Seriously terrible. Nicole is probably the only thing worth watching.

It's weird how it's gone from one of the best series to easily one of the worst.

Last year was SO good looking back with Little Mix, Amelia Lily, Misha B, Kitty Brucknell and then the joke acts in 2 Shoes and Johnny Robinson were far better and more entertaining than Maloney and Rylan.

I have to agree. The judges don't seem to work this year, it's only Nicole shining (coming from a massive Tulisa fan - she's just not enjoying it). They need to bring back Simon next year, and have him, Nicole, Louis (:coffee:) and someone new and exciting.

Union J is all i watch it for now. I know i'm looning over them, but their performances have been amazing since week 1, and they're STILL getting better. For me Ella peaked too soon, and has been doing the same since week 1 (still enjoy her performances though), and James could be the dark horse.

This season isn't the best it's been, obviously.. but Nicole being on the judging panel makes it a lot better for me!

Let's not forget season 4, which I think was the worst by miles. At least this season we have Ella, James, Union J, Jahmene (if you like him).

Season 4 had Leon Jackson, Rhydian, Same Difference in the final 3.. There's been a "success" story from every season but 4!

Series 4 was actually atrocious. The best years have been Series 5 (Alex/JLS/Diana/Ruth/Rachel Hylton) and Series 7 (Rebecca/1D/Cher/Tesco Mary/Treyc/Belle Amie :kink:) with my favourites in the brackets. Right now I can't say I care for more than three (probably gonna be down to two tonight anyway...).

Tbf, 2 Shoes' version of Tik Tok at judges houses was excellent! If only they did something like that instead of a cheesy cover of one of my favourite Girls Aloud songs!

Every year (bar 2007) since I watched has had a few big highlights!

2008 - Alexandra, Diana, JLS, Laura, Ruth

2009 - Stacey, Olly, Lucie

2010 - Rebecca, Matt, Cher, Treyc

2011 - Little Mix, Amelia, Misha, Janet, Sophie, Kitty

2011 >>> 2008 >>> 2010 >>>> 2009 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2007 > 2012

This year is genuinely worse than 2007, and that was bad! I'd rather listen to Same Difference, Niki, Alisha or even bloody Rhydian than the likes of Jahmene, District 3 and Christopher

Rhydian was a success story. :hitler:

Same Difference would've been had CBBC had signed them up and given them their own TV show. Leon Jackson was a lost cause from the start. I don't understand how someone with zero personality can win X Factor, come back 12 months later with his first proper single and STILL not have a personality. Madness!!!

His sing Creative was brilliant though! As was his duet with Kylie, although I'm probably slightly biased on that one! :P

I used to refer to him as Leon "bum note" Jackson because every performance he did had plenty of them. Iirc, in the quarter final week he did a Michael Bublé ballad (who just happened to be the guest that week), and seriously a cardboard cut out of Leon would've been more entertaining. He had to swoon this girl on the stage holding her hand and being all lovey dovey and he literally crumbled live on TV. It was a fabulous car crash!!! Even autotune would've struggled to make those vocals sound good. The poor girl. I felt embarrassed FOR her. :(

He was truly bad. I cannot see how he got through each week never mind win! It surely wasn't the "he iz so fit" vote was it?

Oh Nicole!

Rylan is obviously not an excellent singer, but he improved a lot this week. Even when he was prancing about as usual, he was still actually trying to sing. Although I agree with Gary, it's probably his last week.

Wow! :o That was really, really good! Brilliant vocals (although the guy doing all the big notes is one ugly twat!) and definitely their best performance!

What exactly is a "safe choice of song", may I ask?

Wasn't keen on the high notes, but aside from that it was really good - much better than last week and could definitely see he was inspired by Robbie's performance, but it wasn't over the top.

Gwen looks really different, but still hot! :D

Before the rap, that was by far is best performance. During the rap and after, that was absolutely terrible. :puke: Always has to spoil his performance by singing like he is injured and in serious pain!

The "Scottish" vote - or should that be the "Glasgow" vote? The same people who no doubt voted for David Sneddon (Fame Academy) and Michelle McManus (Pop Idol 2).

All massive artists selling millions of hit singles each. Oh!!! :D
