November 4, 201213 yr Madness made the Top 10. Just. Yes yes yes yes . The first group to reach the Top 10 with new material (singles or albums) in each of the 70s 80s 90s 00s and 10s. Congratulations.
November 4, 201213 yr Madness made the Top 10. Just. Yes yes yes yes . I think that should be oui, si, ja, da! :kink:
November 4, 201213 yr Delighted Kylie held onto the number 2 position and achieves her 14th top 10 album.
November 4, 201213 yr Kylie's Flower entering at #96 is quite surprising - I thought it would be All the Lovers if anything. Hopefully ATL is in the Top 200. Also quite surprised Michael Jackson's Thriller didn't make the Top 40, or at least #41/#42. Oh, and another woo for Kylie debuting at #2! Edited November 4, 201213 yr by liamk97
November 4, 201213 yr Flower #96 Surprised to see this chart as I'm sure it didn't go top 100 on iTunes?
November 4, 201213 yr Flower #96 Surprised to see this chart as I'm sure it didn't go top 100 on iTunes? It didn't, but it was Top 200 all week. All the Lovers was a couple of positions off, but once it peaked, it fell very fast.
November 4, 201213 yr But there wasn't a second version, so just wondering how it managed to get to #96?
November 4, 201213 yr Loving the lower end of the charts, take that still in with rule the world, and Matt Cardle getting another top 100 entry with first time ever i saw your face. Also thrilled Kylie;s flower made the top 100, its a beautiful song that should have been a huge hit. Also delighted to see Loreen make the top 75 in the album chart, i didnt expect that at all either.
November 4, 201213 yr But there wasn't a second version, so just wondering how it managed to get to #96? I can only think that it did well on other downloading sites, as there's not a digital EP or CD yet. Come to think of it, I'm not sure if All the Lovers went Top 100 on iTunes following her performance on the Diamond Jubilee Concert, although there's numerous versions of that.
November 4, 201213 yr Rita Ora is going to be another high climber, if she gets #1 next Sunday possibility 47-1
November 4, 201213 yr Flower was 104 for a good while, obviously sonsg higher at some stages dropped much quicker where kylie held up better making way for her to slide into the top 100.
November 4, 201213 yr Not exactly smashing it but Loreen's nevertheless the first Eurovision winner to get a UK hit album (that features the winning song) in a loooooooooooong time! God knows who the last was, Bucks Fizz?
November 4, 201213 yr Author Unexpected new entries in the bottom ten of the top 100 from Matt and Kylie! No idea why Matt is top 100 (the highest selling version was apprently the one from the 'Amazing' EP, not the one from his album) but I am glad to see him adding a fourth top 100 hit anyway. Takes him above Leon Jackson's 'hit' count. Good to see the three Halloween tracks in the top 75 as well. And Calvin getting two new entries, two re-entries and a climber (as well as 'Sweet Nothing') :D Re-entries for 'White Flag', 'Fix You' and 'The A Team' are very welcome too  And 'Niggas In Paris' nearly back in the top 40, might re-enter this week if it remains 59p. Was hoping to see A$AP Rocky/Drake/2 Chainz/Kendrick Lamar in the top 100, they can't be too far outside but this was their only real chance. Edited November 4, 201213 yr by Bré
November 4, 201213 yr Also thrilled Kylie;s flower made the top 100, its a beautiful song that should have been a huge hit. I would love for Flower to enter the Top 40 when the CD and 7-inch is released, with the Children in Need Strictly special performance at the end of the week giving it a boost (Girls Aloud is on too, so maybe with the hype of seeing them perform for the first time since they reunited could make more people see Kylie's performance). Then there's the Royal Variety Performance the following week.
November 4, 201213 yr I'm glad to see Kylie chart with 'Flower'! I must admit I didn't expect it either. I suppose it got close and there were loads of songs above which were second versions of a track already there too?
November 4, 201213 yr Yes the Kylie promotion plys phyisical release should help it get a much higher position, such a shame radio isnt fully supporting it.
