Just watched the first episode and it was fine, but it didn't leave me wanting more. Please tell me it gets more binge-watch-able.

I'd say give another few a try, but then I was utterly hooked by about 20 minutes in. The story in S1 is pretty solidly spread throughout so it is worth persevering. Well, that and it's amazing.
Looking forward to this. I've been satiating my appetite in the interim by watching the original BBC version of House of Cards on Netflix, which might end up giving a few hints as to which way this series may go. (I probably would have seen THAT twist coming if I'd watched the BBC version first).

Finished this now as well. While I think we can all sense what will happen in the end, it really is a fascinating show.

I think what I love about House of Cards, is the ability the show has to just thrust characters back in to the main plot/sub-plot despite not having seen them for ages!

Currently the top trend on twitter ( #HouseOfCards ) due to them accidentally releasing something that gives away a major spoiler apparently! I've not ready any further as I don't want it spoiling for myself. 27th is still 2 weeks away though. Goddamnit!

EDIT: Turns out, it was added TWO WEEKS EARLY! :o (It's obviously been removed now though!)

That's epic mismanagement, tho I wonder if they will release it early if people already know major plot twists/whether this is the final season!

Was it announced that this is coming back for another season??!! I mean, just finished season 3 and I guess there HAS to be season 4 at least!?

Of course there will be. They'd be stupid not to. Only one year to go.
I've not finished yet, about half way through, HOLY CRAP. Episode 6 was amazing. Robin will get some really well deserved awards after this episode! The chemistry between her and Kevin is sensational. Things are getting heated and it's fantastic!

Goodness me, that was quite the rollercoaster, especially toward the end. I had no idea where it was heading until about 20 minutes into the last episode when it all became quite clear. That final 10 minutes though, WOW. Indeed the BIG SCENE was some of the finest acting on the show across all 3 seasons. I've loved the deconstruction of the core relationship across the season, though I'm torn as to where I stand on it because on paper they are both awful people.

The fact that the whole political thing basically fell away beyond the election at the end didn't even bother me, this has never really been a show about politics anyway, but rather the people behind/among the politics so I'm glad they focused on that. Plus it was a nice surprise for it to end on such an ostensibly low key note.

Can't imagine waiting a YEAR for more though. GAWD.

Just finished this up myself. That final 10 minutes, wow. Sensational performances. The destruction of the core relationship was a big and interesting point in the show and only made for interesting viewing. Really interested in which direction they're going to go with the next season!

Finally caught Season 3! Do we think Season 4 will be the last? I do wonder how long the show can go on for, as for a lot of the season it just felt like watching Underwood be President. I like the show best when he's cheating and gaining unfair advantages. That said the last few episodes were very strong after a bumpy start.

I always assumed what would be Frank's downfall was the Russo murder, but now Rachel is also dead I don't know who will be the one to bring him down. Obviously the boyfriend is in jail, Gavin looks a beaten man, and the other female journalist from the first two series is scared shitless. I wonder if the President will betray Doug at some point.

In the original BBC version of House of Cards, Doug obtains evidence that Francis was responsible for the killing of the journalist and seeks to expose him, but Francis has him killed. I don't know if the remake will end up going down this direction, but it could happen.

I thought Doug already knows this though? I assume he would be the one to turn if anyone, just not sure where the initial betrayal would come from, especially now he's Chief of Staff.

Just finished Season 2 and I'm hooked (deliberately putting off beginning Series 3 just yet) best moment by far is

Zoe being killed in Series 2 Episode 1, I legit had to rewind to double check it had actually happened

Season 4 starts very soon. So just thought I'd bump this as we edge closer to it!

So, very excited!
