Glassheart can be a huge single still, with radio/tv support. Which in Leona's case is even more important than promo.

That's completely different, these people had successful album campaigns. Florence is a more indie artist who sells albums without struggle, so a #82 single makes no difference for her. 'Beneath Your Beautiful' was an exceptional circumstance, that X-Factor performance really kickstarted its mammoth success.

Of course they were different, every artist and campaign is different, but they are examples of their previous singles not doing well and still releasing another single. I'm sure there are loads of other examples. Trust me I'm sure there will be a 3rd single regardless how shit lovebird does. This campaign isn't over, it just isn't going as planned unfortunately.

Yeah I mean why have they not learnt?? Lovebird is pretty much identical to I Got You in the sense they are both nice, safe songs but are not hit singles. They have Glassheart, and (Outta My Head for Echo) and choose to ignore them. I think this time round they will actually release the hit single, but will it be too late after how badly lovebird has done :blink: maybe...

She was probably getting ahead of herself by thinking these singles are definitely on the cards. She has no say in what she does, I am actually 100% sure her record label (who make these decisions) will not do it.

Yes she does. She had a bunch of arguments/feuds with the label during the recording process and she herself pushed for "Trouble" to be released. Leona has a lot more input into her career than you think. She doesn't just go "Oh, I'll just record. The rest of you pick the tracklisting, singles, marketing, style, ect ect ect".

Well if Leona was involved with choosing lovebird as second single I'd be really disappointed. She for one knows all her fans wanted GH as second single, and if not Come Alive was another favorite. If not that even I To You is a big favorite and more in line with Trouble and representing the album.

New album more likely I'd say. I'd love Leona to have a big ballads album, with dark deep songs for her 4th album. That'd be incredible. Anyway we still on 3rd and it is far from over at the moment, roll on 3rd single and tour. Lovebird is dead.

I've just got this album after putting it off for a while. I'm a MASSIVE Leona fan and I've been really disappointed by recent singles, so I wasn't too enthusiastic. However, the album is very nice. It has some pretty little songs on it and it's nice to hear Leona's voice on new stuff. It's nothing ground-breaking or particularly new or fresh but I like it.

If anyone hasn't bought it yet, it's only £3.99 on iTunes and the deluxe £6.99 so make the most of it while they at this price.

A re-release would be interesting but she needs a killer single and plenty of airplay to revitalise album sales. This era has been distasterous and the album hasn't even a quarter of echo's sales yet.

She's never had that 'Killer single' though, since Bleeding Love (which would flop had she released it now without any X Factor exposure).

Bleeding Love is a classic. If released now as a lead to another album, or in this case the lead to Glassheart it still would of been huge.

 

(Ofcourse we both have no idea if it would or not just what we'd predict).

No news really. She'll be performing at an event in China on the 31st. I think we'll start getting news the first week or so of January.

Some good news!! A Chinese fan met Leona earlier today and told Leona she wanted "Glassheart" as the 3rd single. Leona then replied "Yeah I know! That's what everyone wants!".

 

So it looks VERY VERY likely it will be released as the 3rd single. :D

Yeah everyone wants it, they knew that before second single was chosen, and it wasnt released. I still have faith it will be the third single and we are just awaiting confirmation. So much more in this album, and the tour in the spring, she needs to be out there performing live on all the big shows, be on TV, Radio etc!

There's a Russian album advert that says - including the hits - "Trouble" & "Glassheart":

 

 

I hope it's a sign. But I know "Glassheart" has been doing decently in Russian airplay. It's peaked at #38 there so far and is currently #54 in their airplay chart.
