So I've counted up the results for The Favourite Girls Aloud Album Track, we had 19 full ratings and 1 half rating from Jark :P

 

So I've counted the 19 full rates which I will be counting down, but I then did an average rating including the 20th vote which I will put next to the others, I didn't want TU and OOC to have an unfair advantage.

 

Hope that all makes sense.

43. Love Bomb - 109 points (Average: 5.73)

 

 

So the song finishing in last place is 'Love Bomb' the song featured on the Girls very first album 'Sound Of The Underground' before being replaced when the Girls reissued the album. The song is one of few that wasn't produced by Xenomania. Can't say I'm too surprised, the song is rather cheesy!

 

 

42. Fix Me Up - 114 points (Average: 5.95)

 

 

Finishing in 2nd to last is 'Fix Me Up' one of the girls most recent songs from 'Out Of Control' album. Safe to say I'm pretty shocked this song is so low, It's a very fun and sexy song imo. Although I have to admit I didn't really start feeling it until I saw them perform it live, and Sarah can have her over the top moments!

 

 

41. Boogie Down Love - 115.5 points (Average: 6.07)

 

 

Boogie Down Love the first song to get just over a 6 point average, another from the SOTU album, and another not produced by Xenomania but Betty Boo just like Love Bomb, can't say I'm surprised this is so low, I would say its their worst off the first album, and I couldn't even find a youtube video that was solely this song :lol:

40. No Regrets - 117.5 points (Average: 6.18)

 

 

The lowest song from 3rd album 'Chemisty' is one of the two 'bonus tracks' No Regrets is a Nadine solo, a beautiful ballad imo and I actually love this, maybe due to Nadine having flawless vocals, seems not many people are fussed on it though as it only just makes the Top 40.

 

 

39. Everything You Ever Wanted - 123 points (Average: 6.47)

 

 

Another song from the SOTU album, and just like Love Bomb the song was replaced when the reissued album came out, A nice song but pretty forgettable tbh so no surprise its so low.

 

38. Live In The Country - 124.5 points (Average: 6.32)

 

 

The 2nd OOC song to fall out of the running, Well what do I say about this song? Farmyard animals! For me this is probably the worst song they have EVER put out there, I think if it was released by any other band I would slate it but just because its my favourite ladies it is bearable. But tbh its pretty dire. Is it true that this was Sarah's idea? Shock horror!

Anyway it still managed to beat 5 other songs so it did well imo :lol:

I've gone right off her lately. Like seriously. Her vocals (live and studio) sometimes are awful. I hate her squeak in The Promise. I don't like her "all the parts that I used to hate, you glorified" bit Beautiful Cause You Love Me as well - thank god Kimba took it off her!! Nicola and Nadine are where its at now. You know this already :P

The one unreleased cover song by them, a cover of Duran Duran featuring on the reissued version of SOTU, I rather like this, not their best cover but not their worst either imo but it being the only one in this countdown makes it no shock that its quite low.

 

 

36. Forever and a Night - 129 points (Average: 6.78)

 

 

Another song from the SOTU to fall out is a rare GA ballad, personally I ADORE this song, but I am always a sucker for a slow song, Cheryl actually sounds beautiful in this song, and Nadine too obviously. Would have loved to hear it live

 

 

35. 100 Different Ways - 130.5 points (Average: 6.86)

 

 

The first song to fall from WWTNS is the 2nd Nadine solo song featurted in this countdown. Another ballad Nadine's speciality, no surprise that I love it and no shock that its so low, seems not many people are fond of their ballads. Oh well..

34. You Freak Me Out - 131.5 points (Average: 6.92)

 

 

Another from the SOTU falls out, this was also on the reissued version, and used in the film 'Freaky Friday' this is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me, its SO cheesy but so catchy and for some reason reminds me of Halloween. I thought it would do a bit better tbh..

 

33. Don't Want You Back - 132 points (Average: 6.94)

 

 

And again another from SOTU, seems like most have forgotten that album, this is actually a really good song, tbh I always forget about it but then when I do listen I always find myself loving it, forgotten gem, but has done pretty ok on this countdown.

Another faller from SOTU is Love/Hate another rather good song that I personally forget about, nothing ground breaking but nice enough.

The 2nd song from OOC to fall out of the running, Well its a nice enough song but for me it just doesn't go anywhere, although it it still superior to LITC imo.

Back to the SOTU songs :lol: Stop is out next, although averaging a rating of over 7/10 it just scrapes the Top 30, nice song!

 

29. All I Need (All I Don't) - 136 points (Average: 7.15)

 

 

Well another from SOTU but it actually ranks 5th out of the 14 tracks from it in this rate, personally I LOVE this song, one of my faves, hoped it had done better but oh well.

28. Mars Attack - 137 points (Average: 7.21)

 

 

Another from SOTU (repeating myself much?) Ranking 4th from the album though is Mars Attack, I for one was VERY surprised this ranked so highly, I only gave it a 6 personally, but you all seem to love it. Maybe I should give it more plays..

 

 

27. Money - 140.5 points (Average: 7.39)

 

 

The only song from the first Greatest Hits, Money.. a lot of people wanted this released over ITWAN, I wasn't one of them, this is a very catchy and fun song, but imo feels a bit like a weaker version of Love Machine.

 

 

26. Hear Me Out - 142 points (Average: 7.47)

 

 

Hear Me Out the 2nd song from WWTNS to lose out, I actually really love this song, even though I only gave it a 7, its a different pace from their usual stuff, but its very sultry and relaxing in my opinion, still it does pretty well with an average of almost 7.5
